The wife smoked once in college. It went very badly, I hear. Total freak-out. Police were summoned.

She doesn't have any tolerance for anything. When we first started dating we went out and she got a fancy cocktail. Later, after half the drink, she went to the bathroom and was gone about 20 minutes. Just as I was going to go in and find her she came back and was kind of crying. I asked her what was wrong and she replied "I am feeling a little tipsy."

So I always have a designated driver, which is nice.
