Cal-mag def?

you're at week 6 of flower....look up the word senescence, because thats what that is. its a natural thing and while you can stop it, theres no reason to. you can load the plant up with nutes just short of the burn point and they'll stay green to the end, but thats not natural or necessary, and will contribute to a harsher smoke imo.
built soils will almost always peter out before the end and you have to add stuff to it. your plant ate all the mag in your soil, a small dose of cal-mag wouldn't hurt, but keep it small, you have 2 or 3 weeks before that plants done, don't nute load it now, just keep feeding it the way you have for the most part

p.s. molasses is to feed your beneficial microbes, if you're using them, plants ignore molasses, the molecules are too big for them to digest, mostly.
Thank you for the insight, this sounds accurate. I know not to worry next time round.

He's not "feeding" the plant if he's in supersoil doing water only? I would think any type of burns would've showed up long before this if the soil was too hot. Unless the OP up-pots or top dresses a lot?
If anything the soil would be a bit depleted.
I'm still leaning toward mag def (not cal) and possibly gnat damaged roots. Either way its pretty hard to over do mag and the sulfur will def help with ripening and trich development. But what do I know...I haven't even had a coffee yet.

No up-potting or top dresssing, depleted soil is the most likely suspect. I'll keep in mind sulfur for trich production next time as well.

If you're running Sub's supersoil then you shouldn't need to worry about teas or top dressing or anything of the like, his mix is designed to last for a long time which is why there is so much of everything in there. I'm not running Sub's soil anymore, the mix I use is much more simple, Sub's mix should have all you need to go from start to finish.. even during an outdoor grow this holds true. In fact, I've run outdoor plants from start to finish in supersoil many times and only ever needed water. So unless you changed Sub's recipe somehow, I doubt it's a lack of nutrients.

If I had to guess, you may be suffering from nutrient lock out as opposed to a deficiency. Lock out and deficiency have the exact same symptoms, so it very well could be that. Look into the ph of your runoff if you haven't already.

Another thing to consider, when running organic soil, we're taking care of the life in the soil and not so much the plant itself. When I ran sub's supersoil, I used water from my hose. So pretty much tap water :P Let me ask you this, have you ever let your pots get too dry? Especially in flower? If I had to guess, the problem is with the soil. But since you didn't have any problems before, that tells me that some of your microbes have probably died off and things aren't as efficient as they once were. Because if you don't keep your organic soil constantly moist, then it can have no life. And organic soil without life is just dirt. But don't trip, because a lot of these microbes just go dormant, and I'm sure there are still some there! All you gotta do is brew a simple EWC tea with a little molasses and oatmeal. Water your soil and be sure to keep things moist from now on. You should notice signs of improvement if my thinking is correct.

Yeah that makes sense as well. I chopped her due to pollen sacs growing from buds but I have more stable genetics already week 2 of flip and on their way, I will keep in mind not to let soil dry out too much this time.

I mean, I can't say for sure, but based on everything you've told me it makes the most sense.

What kind of soil did you plant them in? Looks like nute burn to me, I'm guessing you planted them directly into bagged soil instead of something lighter? Only thing you can really do would be to transplant them into something not so potent, seeds should only be started in a basic peat/EWC mixture. No nutes until they're old enough to handle it, think of them like a baby. A baby only needs milk for the first few months to a year, same with seeds.

I recommend starting your own thread in either the plant problems or noobie central boards, you'll get a lot more help there and it's considered bad etiquette to hijack others threads. If you post your own thread myself and other members would be more than happy to help how we can. Welcome to RIU :)
