Do you harvest the whole plant at once??

Hi guys...Im a first time grower and want to know do you harvest the whole plant at once or should you wait until the whole things ripe because the smaller buds on the lower parts of my plant look ready to harvest but the main cola and the mini colas up top are not fully ripe yet. Im just beginning my 7th week of flower after veggin it for 39 days so I know the whole plant's not ready to harvest already. Im not sure of the strain that the seed is but Im planning on harvesting on the 64th day of flowering on the 22nd...

I would take whole at once.

I have heard some take in stages over a couple weeks, top down.

Depends on grow style and lights. Ttystick is growing in a way that all his buds get even light.

If you have a weaker light and thick canopy the tops will ripen first then you need to give the lowers extra time.

I harvest in stages.

• I harvest in stages, removing the larger riper buds first.. then give the smaller ones a few more days... I like to take my time and trim a couple hrs a day..

I also recommend the first few plants harvesting in stages to figure out what ripeness you like.

You growing indoors with a traditional overhead hid light?

I keep everything below the canopy stripped bare indoors and trim the fans out the last couple days for an east harv. Outdoors is a lot more work so I harv the tops, let the bottoms finish until weather stops me.....then I chop the Larf and just add that to the trim for hash.

That's a good point..The hard thing is that since idk what strain it is is know exactly what i should do...

I stagger my harvests myself. Tops first then 1-2 weeks the bottoms

I lollipop to avoid lower buds, the whole plant is cut to avoid excess plant counts in a perpetually harvest cycle style garden when ripe.

That's alright. Just grow it and we will help. Be prepared to go 12 weeks if not more in flower if it s sativa dominant strain.

Same here usually unless it's in a sog single colas grow. It takes longer but your whole plant is at the peak you want it to be at .
