should I be able to actually smell my plants with them being only 3 weeks old as I can it's quite strong . iv also notice the the main stem is green but the arms leading to the leaves are kinda purplish in colour leaves are normal green . no discolouration to them

I have read that the early smell is a good sign of an aggressively growing plant, and the purple is normal.

thank you mate yes iv been told it can be due to temps when cold and the warm up and that it can cause the HTC to rocket some say it can be mind blowing

I topped her 3 days ago . new shoots have started . very pleased with this one . she seems very hardy can do anything to her and she keeps going

Sounds good man. But I would suggest giving her more than a week. 2 weeks minimum.


That's not an exact rule, but even though she looks healthy, she is still small.

Be patient and don't try to rush it. Again, you got her looking healthy so that's a good thing.

10 days is the least amount of time I've gone between.....2 weeks is better and that's about the time it takes to get the amount of nodes in to top again for most strains.....

yhea I'm leaving her gonna top the others today and flip them on the 23rd this mth as that will be 40 days in veg I am only gonna top once then lst then up to 2 weeks into flower see how it goes

Don't worry about the purpling.

Unless your room is 40 degrees.. which i assume it's not

iv got up this morning and on the one I topped days ago I have noticed loads of new leaves poking out all over the place all over the plant. coming in between old leaves .under them .silly question ere... but should I trim old leaves a bit to give better light to new ones ?
