Help! Harvest ready?

So I have a closet full of flowering plants all from bagseed. This is my first grow I'm trying to evaluate readiness for harvest. Looking for some help.

One plant has pistils that have mostly started turning orange and shrinking but the buds still seem pitifully unfilled. Was wondering if anyone could tell from the pictures what they thought / how far away from harvest am I?
The first pics are of the unfilled plant. The second pair are of another plant that seems closer to harvest planning on cutting her in the next few days. (Pics are a few days old)

You should be checking trichomes, they don't look ready. Looks like you have a bunch of white pistills still forming and they need to receed to allow the buds to fatten up.

Trying to find a place to buy a jewellers loupe now. Looking to get one locally... Seems to be a difficult task but I'll manage

I got mine from walmart, also amazon has them, there about $10 US, you can also go to a jewelry store, they sell them too...

I finally broke down and got one, best little tool, helps alot

My thoughts exactly. Some good advice that helped me with harvesting when I first started out was this. When you think they're ready for harvest, then harvest 4-7 days after that.
