My water is pretty consistent so I can tell if its off pretty quickly on raw water.

But my issue isn't the probe calibration, it's the water. My water is really clean, with several lab tests between 40 and 50 ppm. But it isn't stable.

It comes out of the tap at 5.9. Let it sit a couple of days and it will drift up about 7.4. Probably a dissolved gas. But now I have to age my water before using it which is a pita. RO won't help with dissolved gasses.

Oh well. I just checked my soil ph and luckily its in a good place. Now I have to up the nutes; since I put in the qb's they are eating a lot more.
Ive done that my entire grow man, i like to let the water sit for a day or 2 that way its room temp and alot of the bad stuff evaporates, well thats the idea anyways (also uses tap water)

My cat thinks those 3- 5 gal buckets full of water are his new watering bowl. Won't drink anywhere else. He also thinks the new platform under the tent is his new clubhouse.

I have not needed to pH my water since calibration. Comes in at 6.5 with nutrients.

Got snap in the stems 13 days after chop. Final weight on the northern lights auto early harvest before cure. 71g. Both her sisters are much bigger and still going strong.

Harvested and Lightly trimmed the sour d hermie. Looks to be about twice as much as the auto. Can't wait to see what her sister can do with 6 more weeks of flowering. I grew too much for sure. My wife is having a good laugh. Can anyone suggest a good vacuum packer for long term storage?

I generally burn out one foodsaver every other year. I pack wet fish and it just can't keep up after a while. Good unit for the home user, just don't put a lot of water into the system.

For bud, I'd get mylar bags. They are both lightproof and are far less gas permeable than the clear plastic.

If this was for really long term storage, I'd purge the bags with nitrogen first and toss in a bovita pack, then seal before pulling out all the gas. O2 is what kills anything food related over time.

Or you could just have a block party. ;)

Updates, week 3 day 3, finally showing some buds!!! WOOHOO! "Happy Dance"

They also make vacum Jars for Foodsaver-seems more practical, for access.
I saw a gadget you can screw on over a standard ball jar with the flat lid under it. You can connect it to a foodsaver to suck the air out of the jar. When you release the vacuum, the lid is held securely in place. Unscrew the gadget and put the jar ring on and it is vacuum sealed.

Similar to what the lid does when canning but without heat (so don't use it for canning)..

edit: found it:

The youtube I saw didn't leave the gadget on the jar. The gadget comes off and the lid is held down by the vacuum.

In case anyone is curious, the Harvestmore Trim Bin, well worth the money imo. Trimmed half a plant last night, about 2.5oz and ended up with a full bowl pack of kief. I was ripped for 4 hours. I wonder how much I lost trimming the last 4 plants.

Bos, That's what I'm using to cure-and its working very well- I have the larger one in the video- and currently have 8 z's in it-stays at 62% consistently and helps bring out the smell- so far what I've sampled has been very smooth and burns cleanly.

Better off using widemouth Ball jars with boveda pack and kept in dark(closet) QT. size will hold 1 oz.
Bro the best jars you can get from big y there almost a gallon w a metal framed snap on lid w a rubber seal there the best and biggest you can find

Just a qb note. I've started burning leaves at 24" and 275 watts. I'm going to add a little height and lower the watts to 250 and see if it clears up. You absolutely need lower wattage with these....

I know, never change horses in the middle of the stream.... ;)
