2. Depends on your definition of success. If being an inveterate fraud is your idea of success, I'd say that says a lot about your character- none of it good.
3. America was NEVER made great by pursuing belligerent regime change for profit. Until Vietnam, America came to the aid of oppressed people and in doing so we won the admiration, respect and goodwill of millions around the globe.
Since then, we've BECOME the 'evil empire', as defined by ignoring the needs of the average citizen here and abroad in favor of subsidizing the rich and wars for profit.
You aren't one of the rich that profits and therefore your defense of them is exactly the same as a slave defending the master who beats you while keeping the fruits of his labors for himself. That makes you nothing more than a fool and a hypocrite, something the poor quality of your writing confirms.

Please tell us what did you consider was revisionist in Zinn's "People's History of the United States"? What did you find was "anti capitalist" in Zinn's history series?
For what it's worth, I found Zinn's history to be a very carefully researched history that unblinkingly covered the rise of the labor unions and progressive movements that shaped much of the political history of the US in the past hundred years or so.
For example, he covered depredations by corporations, especially railroads, that led to a national strike in the 1870's. That wasn't even mentioned in my High School US History class.
Was this revisionist?
