Whats really messed up in the world?

What I feel is really messed up in the world today, where did all the local shops go? You know the mom & pop, family run stores. Why are we basically forced to get our supplies at these large stores now?. I want to support my local economy, not the USA's, (sorry no offence to any americans here) but my choices are very slim. Even 10 years ago was so much different. There were locally owned grocery stores, hardware stores, coffee shops, restaurants, pharmacies etc. Now it is all Walmart, Home Depot and other large chain companies buying out or squeezing out the private local business owners.
Another thing that bothers me about these large stores, Walmart in particular is the mass marketing going on in there. They set up the deals all over the place to make you think you need it all cause it is on sale. They advertise for kids, ie: Hannah Montana and Disney etc, they make your kids really want the stuff. You can't get away from that either. It is in schools, t.v., internet, magazines, radio, billboards, flyers you name it. That is what I think is messed up in this world today, sorry for rambling, a wee bit baked this evening.:peace:
I couldn't agree more. And any economical analyst will tell you that small business is the true backbone of the U.S. and without it the economy will crumble into itself, with the money being locked up in the corporate accounts and taxes, and the government having to print more that it can't back with real money (gold). Jobs going overseas so that the people that live here can't even pay rent, let alone partake in their sales gimmicks... I have a lot more to say on the issue... really a lot... but I will save it until after you respond.... I have been trying to get you into a discussion for awhile if you haven't noticed... but don't freak out, cuz im not a stalker or anything....

I can't really comment on the USA economy, government/politics as I don't live there. But close enough. :weed:

I would say that the U.S. economy is directly relative to the worldwide economies due to international banking, the trilateral commission, and the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations) effects on worldwide governments, politics and fiscal policy...

I know full well how it impacts me, I see all around me everywhere. I also wish your government would take a few lessons from ours and lighten up on your drug laws, lol. :weed:

When did we ever do this?
The American Indians are the best example of people doing this.

I think that we have a big prob with people being laid off
and no new jobs are being created
I completely agree, but all it would take it action by the people, for the people, to remedy this. Nobody seems willing to take some risk, or make any sacrifice for the greater good of not just everybody, but themselves at all.

Your all brainwashed, and that is a real problem now isn't it?

I think one of the world's biggest problems is religion.

Why?

It divides and closes minds.

My own opinion is that belief is the death of intelligence. As soon as one believes a doctrine of any sort, or assumes certitude, one stops thinking about that aspect of existence. The more certitude one assumes, the less there is left to think about, and a person sure of everything would never have any need to think about anything and might be considered clinically dead under current medical standards, where the absence of brain activity is taken to mean that life has ended.

THE biggest problem is that nobody is observant.

The west is burning, slowly from the inside.
Its probably too late.

Can you not see that corruption results in disaster?
Can you not see that this little empire is coming to an end?

You are all so complacent with your fancy cars,
fancy houses,
overpriced weeds,
whores,
faggot whores,
and irrepressible mores.

Do not say that you were not warned.

May God have mercy on your pathetic little lives.

WAKE THE FUCK UP!

"What are the biggest problems and possible solutions that the human race faces today?"

Corruption on every level of every major government.
Solution: A united forefront of people taking a stand against them. I think every major problem that humanity has in front of them is placed there by a small group of elites who don't want us to know anything, at all, period. They want us to be dumb niggers(literal use not a racial jargon) with no sense of freedom at all. The u.s is the supposive land of the free but we have given up more of these freedoms with every major war we have faught since we established this country. Our counrty like it or not is ran by the dollar, our government cannot even back its "legal tender" because the government does not controll how much money is circulated, the federal reserve does and our goverment owes them, as Ron Paul said: "an infinant amount" The reserve prints the government this money with interest, i am no accounting major, but how can we possibly make money when our "legal tender" is borrowed to us with intetest??? The world is a fucked up place and this is only the doesn't scratch the surface of our problems.
