DIY with Quantum Boards

The link above is different. That one fuses the AC side. What I'm talking about is fusing the DC side. You just use a simple in-line fuse holder.

You can get these for the round glass fuses as well. Get the waterproof kind.
I know but here is a dc one. I was busy sorry http://www.ebay.com/itm/12V-20A-Blu...ash=item2eff7d5f5a:g:7AYAAOSwax5YyMtK&vxp=mtr $6 with fuse I do know the difference between ac and dc.

Yea, i am stuck on indoor too much because i live in Michigan and its weather hates us. Its good for seasonal use and for the period that it is used for it can have more production during that time.
Determinate varieties can continually produce for over two years indoors. That's why they're popular, no down time after they start fruiting.

Learn something new every day. 2yrs isnt bad. I knew they had a set limit, it probably depends on the strain you get. Ive heard of kinds that only last about 2months. Had to look it up now cause there are so many. Bush early girl has a really short lifespan.

Had fun reading this whole thread.
Just a note regarding fire extinguishers around electricity.
Make sure you have one that uses CO2 (does not stop fire flaring up again), dry powder or water mist.
When you factor in the wood frames many of you use, you are left with only dry powder extinguisher as viable.

Be safe.
Keep your dick in a vice!

Good points about having a good extinguisher near by!

I think you were meaning dry chemical* as dry powder is different, dry chemical is what is in your typical ABC rated extinguisher.

Water mist works excellent for class a (combustible materials such as wood) and class C electrical fires however the older water spray type do not.

So you should be looking for a very easy and cheap to find ABC (watch out for for First Alert brand as I have seen some ABC rated extinguishers filled with what apears to be purple k powder which is BC rated) or a harder and much more expensive water mist extinguisher.

Apogee SQ-120 and no spectrum adjustment to numbers. So these are minimum numbers. Actual numbers should be higher.
Why not a better PAR meter. @Stephenj37826 can i have that Lighting Passport now ? You've been playing with it for 3 weeks :finger:

All numbers in µmol (photons) m-2 s-1
With tent measurements the numbers outside 1x1 were not easy to measure so some margin of error.
Are you referring to photosynthetical photon flux density(calculates the amount of light reaching a certain point) As a means to calculate even distribution of par? Ur well above me but im subbed, great info this should be a sticky... Gonna read it all now.ive 850w of Budmaster cob in my 4x4 now their prices are up so do u know of any reasonable modular cobs sets preferred with osram due to the low deprecation rate
