stays relevant.
That's pretty much it... We're worm food, nothing more... We just spend our entire lives plumping up for it.

The stages of death were defined as and in this order;
Denial(no way not me)
Anger(fuck, why me)
Bargaining(what if i pray)
Depression(fuck, im gonna die)
Acceptance(well, death is cool with me)

You can get through these stages now if you want to.

I've reached nirvana.

It may be ...... selfish ...... to accept an alternate reality..... But that is only human nature. We are all fueled by selfishness. We have a personal sex drive, so we reproduce.. If we are starving we have a personal desperation for food and water because we need it to survive.. We are not shown the answers to the biggest questions, so we can only personally hope that it all means something.

What your talking about is survival instinct; sex, food, sleep, shelter.

Wanting an afterlife was a man made invention, just like self conscience, and awareness of appearance.

Animals are the best at teaching you religion, and life. They don't give a shit about anything, and don't contemplate the unanswerable questions.

I've been clinically dead for over 5 minutes several times, and I didn't see shit, hear shit, feel shit, just complete nothingness, lights out.

The point I was making was humans are set apart from animals in the way where we are fueled by emotion and reason, and we let our emotions take hold of us and make us think outside of what we can physically see.
This is why we are such a thriving species in the first place...We are always trying to know more and understand more.. Hope for an afterlife is understandable considering how complex we really are by nature..

Could you give me a logical reason why we have evolved to what we are in the first place? Why didn't we just stay pea brained animals? All by dumb luck is what science can only offer us..

emotion and trying to explain the unexplainable has little relevance to basic instinct

This is why we are such a thriving species in the first place...

Not necessarily, again, basic instinct mean we utilize selective breeding, and reproduce as much as possible like animals

Hope for an afterlife is understandable considering how complex we really are by nature..

Ignorance is bliss.

Could you give me a logical reason why we have evolved to what we are in the first place?

Selctive breeding, natural selection, accidental revelations, organized interaction, communication... transcription... geological changes...

Why didn't we just stay pea brained animals?

EVOLUTION

All by dumb luck is what science can only offer us..
Dumb luck? That's a pretty derogatory name for evolution.
As a infinately expanding species, we are more of a viral colony than a species. What other entity destroys earth? Burns its resources for energy? Cuts down landscaping for domiciles? Destroys forests for its lumber? Polutes with its garbage?

Buries their dead?

Humans are infatuated with themselves!

You know about Charles Manson?

I mean do you really know about Charles Manson?

He killed celebrities because of the stupid human infatuation with materialism and idolatry.

Pretty nice guy.

Any scientist will tell you that we are here by pure chance...

But yeah you kinda just agreed with what I was sayin before .. Humans are selfish... and we keep taking from Earth and one day it will come back to us.. But who knows.. Maybe that's the way it was meant to be. After we kill our own 'viral colony' ... Earth may still have millions of years left until the Sun expands and destroys the planet indefinitely.. The evolutionary process will start all over again and come out with a whole other form of life.. Might never even reach the intelligence humans acquired through evolution. .

He was just cooky in the head.... He has his own motives that a sane person would never understand.. But he still had motives.

If you think of the earth as a living thing, it will heal itself from the scars let by the human race. Be it a change in climate, like the ice age, which was caused by massive volcanic eruptions, or global warming, the earth will survive our tarnish.

The sun won't expand. Eventually it will burn out and collapse upon itself turning into a dark star, or black hole, sucking earth into itself.

Matter is always matter, and never loses any mass, the is a finite amount of matter on earth, and we're abusing too much.

I agree we're in agreement, but still disagree with some of your statements.
