That is true you can have it shipped to a terminal and pick it up from there that's how i would do it!!

:blsmoke:Yah it is what it is, its required for brining anythin into US. Never had a problem 6 years, over 4000 units in US running right now. Almost everyone gets it to the depot.

Good chance to get a box cheep, used producers plus half price shipping until Aug 31 equals hellofa deal.

You know the old saying "You Get What You Pay 4" The Bloombox is a high end grow box built with quality parts. The end product is a great piece of machinery. I'M using Northern Light's Bloombox for my first grow and the results have been extremely favorable. Six weeks from germination and just ended the third week in flowering. Buds are starting to take form. And by the way; the Coco Carbon Filter absorbs the flowering smell with no problem. Irrigation (top drip lines), vegetative & flowering lighting cycles (12 on/12 off -18 on/6 off), CO2 injection maintained at 1600 PPM, and ventilation (intake & exhaust) are controlled automatically with the systems control panel. Take a look at the progression of my first GROW in the Bloombox:

HI guys,
Im a "virgin" to the site . i have just purchased my reconditioned bloombox and im picking it up in one day :). i have never grown with hydro before just soil. after reading all the reviews and the info from the boys at bcnl, it seems like the right choice . Any advice for repotting my little clones from a small soil pot to the hydro?????

Hey virgin lol get some clone gel or powder cut your clones dip them in gel and place them in 1 inch rockwool cubes be sure to soak cubes in ph balanced water and lightly pinch around the stem to insure an airtight seal,place them in a humidome under cfl's

I bought the box in london for half price , growin life is the name of the place.
my question before was i have 2 plants in soil vegging about 7 " can they be put into a hydro system now????? or not??

Yes you can rinse all the dirt off and put them in hydroton clay balls to finish growing/flowering in the hydro setup. BUT I agree with yourname also ,I suggest taking clones from them before, just in case it doesn't go well your fist try and all. If they are too small to make a pass of cuttings it might work better by letting them grow into mothers with soil and Fluoro lights and take cuttings after they grow a bit.

Chopped the girls last friday, total wet weight was 85 ozs. I got pictures will post this weekend with total dry weight. the producer kicks ass fellas!!!

I dont think its worth it for 3000 dollars. I spent about that building my own and it is more discrete and uses better components. It will take at least 15 hours of your time though.

looks more like 200 hours, plus not to mention the tool expense. Whats a plasma cutter go for nowadays?

Curious. What is the total weight of your Grow cab? Its damn nice kudos to you.

Your cab looks pretty nice, but for the time and experience it would take to do such a thing (not to mention the space, which is one of the main reasons people buy pre-made cabs. I wonder what my neighbors would think if I was running a plasma cutter in my 2 bedroom apartment!), I think I'd just rather spend the extra $1,500 to get a BC Bloombox. It comes with a full year of tech support and ALL supplies for your first crop (lights, ballasts, pumps, rockwool, nutes, etc.). Not to mention this is their 5th or 6th generation and they've done a ton of R&D, as well as studied the problems and suggestions their (thousands?) customers call in with, which has enabled them to rapidly improve on their design with each generation.

I also don't have any friends that are nuclear engineer's, so it'd be pretty difficult for me to come across a heat gun used to look at reactors so that I can test the heat build-up of my cab.

Was your cab $3k before all of the supplies you need to grow a crop?

Not trying to knock you, I'd love to build my own just for the experience, but for the quality of cab I'm looking for it's just not feasible and would cost me way more in time and money than I care to spend right now.

Hey FMJ,

Your Box is bad ass, but why haven't you updated your grow in over a month? Did all of your plants die? What happened? If you can't grow anything in your self built cabinet its not worth anything in my opinion. And there is no way you put 15 hours into that to build it. Maybe 15 hours to get the materials put together, 200-300 to actually build it. 200 hours of my time is worth $5000 to me, which is more than the cost of the BCNL product. To recreate your unproven grow cabinet would actually cost me $10,000 - $12,000 dollars and its only going to grow half as much as my producer does. Your cab is nice though, I will give you that, you have some solid building skillz!!

agreed here, full metal jacket has some def. dope building skills. But the BCNL boxes at this point are hard to argue with. I own one and am totaly excited and satisfied.

makeing your owen box ... takes too much time ... by the time u build it ... im almost done my crop ... i have a bc northern lights producer .... first shot i got 16oz ... this time i pruned it and expect alot more... i will post pictures .. tomorrow ..

I'm with you. That's a hella nice cab Mr FMJ built himself, and much respect to him, but it would take me a lot longer than 15 hours to put that together. Just the same way, I could save a ton of money working on my car if I had the skills, the tools, and I was willing to set aside the time out of my busy schedule to do it, but personally I'd rather sit on my fat ass eating chips and watching dvds and pay someone who knows what they're doing to do it for me properly.
