You're using the logic of the Laffer Curve, named after the economist who proposed it. The idea is that lower taxes does business development, and therefore brings in more tax revenue.
The problem is that it doesn't work. What it does instead is leave more money in the pockets of the corporations and their stockholders, who tend to park it in safe havens instead of reinvesting it. This is detrimental to the larger economy and the last 40 years of increasing economic inequality has amply demonstrated Mr Laffer's error.
In other words, this is a line of bullshit designed to sucker people without a solid education in economics into letting rich people rip them off.
I don't say this to belittle your education; quite the opposite! The better job I can do to educate you and those who think like you as to the towering disservice the Republican Party has done you, the faster we can turn our economy around and create better opportunities for people to prosper at all levels, not just at the top.
