+1 more for dry salts over here. Switched after just one run in my new room and would never look back. In fact it is the one thing I evangelize to friend growers whether they are interested in listening or not.

I use Peters 5-12-26 with cal-nit, and still fiddling around with various additional blends of K-silicate, K-sulfate, mag-sulfate, MAP and MKP all in the search for best results. Not trying to reinvent the wheel, just having a bit of fun.

Pulled 2lb per light for the first time last month and on target to at least maintain this, so its great to be making savings on nutes at the same time.

The only bottles I will buy are biostimulants such as Hydroguard and Recharge, although I have seen occasions where people are propagating these DIY-style too, so its not out of the question to drop these products.

Try it in Tupur. You'll thank me.

I've heard you mention it before, so please elaborate on why it is a special coco?

I get a great deal on Botanicare's 50/50 perlite "Aeration" mix with some organics cut into it that I don't recall, but it does the job and actually seems to be better on recycled runs after treating with H2O2 and enzymes.

+1 on Royal Gold Tupur - thanks to my former guru, Afghan King and Yoda dude - aka ttystkk for suggesting Tupur.

Also I emailed them with a question and the president or owner responded. Great service.

One fellow on here said Turpur in first 2 weeks of Flower needs a bit more N than 5%. Have you noticed anything? Does Hydro sell MPK?
I run the standard mix.

In my case it's equal parts mix and calcium nitrate, that adds up to a lot more than 5% N.

I've run it all the way through with no problems but some like to add MKP in bloom which changes the ratio.

I saw your homie today. Charlie the Cat. He was sleeping on the desk in his bed.

I got the 4-20-39, CN and MS. Yep - my bad about CN with lots of Nitrogen.

He likes getting scratched behind his ears.
One other question please. The bag says 4-20-39 is hydroponic only. I am using Tupur. The Tomato mix is close at 4-18-38 is close but I think is okay in soil?? Not sure of O should just lighten up. Or what? Thanks.

Does the tomato mix have micros? If so, isn't it designed to be used with calcium nitrate?
