I'm not a fan of socialism, but neither am I a fan of illness and misfortune.
And certainly against communism, although these two are cousins of each other.
A country is the sum of its people and a rising tide lifts all ships.
Moving wealth from one person to another does nothing in the big picture.
The little material wealth I have, isn't even mine, The moment you have a child you are relegated to a mere custodian.
Raiding my child's inheritance disrespects my discipline in conserving it and does her no favours either. I'm poor as fuck but used to do OK at corporate level before I got boarded.
So, my viewpoints acknowledge and accept truths from both sides of haveing not just stuff, but unlimited future dreams, to having very little new stuff, very few opportunities etc. I have lived both.
I think the problem is money. Just the mere presence of it. It is a tool to isolate us from each other and feather our cells. Driving us further away from each other, while grouping us together in closer and closer proximity, there has to be a way of ensuring people have access to what they need when they need it and help the community doing what they like, and be rewarded, respected and loved for it.
Maybe we need demonism, democratic communism. Unfortuanlty most people are poor, so that would be a loaded dice from the get-go.
