Flipped to 12/12 ~ 1 week ago, but what is this extreme claw?

Hey RIU, these are my three bagseed ladies. Their genetics are completely unknown/unremarkable, but I needed practice as this is my first ever run.

So I did some research and found that similar clawing is seen in windburn conditions, but I don't have any direct wind on my ladies, just a fan above their canopy and a duct fan pulling in fresh air.

Is this just how the leaves curl where buds are going to form?

The curling/clawing to which I am referring can be seen in this picture in a few places.
Also, should I lollipop this girl? This is her bottom half and it's a lot leafier than her cousins'.

Stick your finger about knuckle deep into your medium, see if it's dry, your plants look thirsty. Since your using cloth pots, I like watering from below, I usually sit my smart pot into a container filled with my nute mix and let it soak in from the bottom.

Important detail I left out is that the pictured plant had a fan running basically all over one side of her cloth pot, wicking away moisture every second of every day for a few weeks, until I realized that I had to water that plant more often than the others and she was the most susceptible to any stress.

I think y'all may be right on the underwatering... I usually water once every 2-3 days (getting to be more like once every two days).
I gave them two "transition" week feeds (GH schedule, but not GH strength) with a normal watering in between (not sure if 2x transition was so good after a hefty 2 month veg....).
Should I maybe start speeding up their feed schedule to one-feed-type-per-week (early bloom, mid bloom, late bloom etc)?
Since they are most likely sativa bagseed, I didn't really think there was a benefit to trying to speed up the plant more than it's genetic background would tolerate..

All the water I give them is between 6.2 and 6.5 pH, and I measure EC every time and check to see if it's within GH drain-to-waste schedule ppm range.


I have noticed that I waste a fair bit of water when I water from top-down (since I'm using 50-50 Promix + vermiculite) - by which I mean, the water seeps out the side and I have to catch it with my hand/reroute it.
I was worried that if left my cloth pots steeped in water (up to the dish's limit) that I'd risk root rot or something..
Also, to my understanding, cannabis is not a bog plant, so I don't worry about keeping the soil humid at all times.
When I check to see if they need water, I stick my finger on the outer rim of the root ball (where I can easily penetrate, instead of fucking with muh rewts) and if it's dry an inch or so down my finger, I water them.

Will also cut way back on the N, they don't need it nearly as much now..

The method I described for watering isn't leaving them bogged, once a fair amount of water had soaked in, I take the smart pot out of the container and place it on a small metal grate to let the extra drip down as to not soak my table, the whole process only takes about 5 minutes.

Your plants look healthy other than what we now know is wind burn and being thirsty.
