My Friends First Grow Ever Just Harvested Reserva Privada OG #18

I'm proud of my friend I supplied the seed and he went to down.

pretty damn decent for a first ever grow.. fuely smell hardcore and caked like cakkkked in trichomes.


these nugs were cut off the plant like an hour ago and still wet.

What ya'll are seeing is some of the bottom growth. Every bit of all the top growth had 100% orange hairs and 30% of the total plant had amber trichomes.. checked with a 90x jewelers loupe. Could he have gone longer.. sure. U always can. Hell yesterday was week 12 though so he chopped. I have 2 autos going right now .. one about done and other just finished stretch. One about done is a speed seeds nyc diesel auto and other flowering stretch is an auto seeds purple cheese.

your friend had to grow it almost a month past what Reserva Prada says to? what went wrong?

I just happen to have 5 OG18s on day 40 of 12/12 and was wondering how long they take to finish. A friend gifted me 5 clones last Dec that came with bonus bugs, bit of PM and all popped out a few male flowers early in flowering. The little tester bud I tried wasn't impressive but we'll see what it's like when it's done. I never bothered getting any clones so will try to reveg one or two depending on how I like it when it finishes completely.

guys he did lots wrong.. listen.. he had a decent bit of light leaking in for the first 4 weeks of flower. i stopped by his house on week 5 and he was like "why isnt it getting close?!?" I said "dude there tons of fucking light getting in there" thus the long ass flowering period.. I WAS SHOCKED it didnt hermie.


he had lots of mistakes and hopefully he learned from them.

I just stopped by for 15 minutes last night to show him how to trim then left.

he insisted on harvesting last night and it wasnt my crop so.......

I have 2 plants of my own so i dont give a fuck honestly.

oldmeduser - I cant tell u honestly because he revegged by accident during flowering etc.

Buddy has been clipping off the same mother for 10 years and was getting rid of it so tossed me some clones before it went. Gave me a Purple Kush clone too tho Kush isn't my favourite. Both have had a couple branches pollinated with OTTO#1 so I'm looking forward to growing CBD versions of them in the future.

this is a gotdamned truth ! I've spent oodles on at least a half dozen packs since 09 when I got a freebie seed of this gem. I kept it for years and accidentally lost it.. tried over and over for fails each time, they didnt compare.
no worries. found a better version finally never looked back. commerce city kush is tops and similar.

I have 3 about 8 weeks in, should be done anytime now, maybe 1 looks like a keeper, big fat colas

one that is in flowering stretch is auto seeds purple cheese auto.


speed seeds diesel auto has atleast 2 weeks left if not 3.

purple cheese has to start flowering now that stretch stopped.

They are very nice but I think you would see some improvement if you let them go just a bit longer. I try to wait until the hairs recede a bit more. I don't think it makes much difference in potency really, but it does increase yield.
