Let her veg too long..options?

So I have let my female OG veg a bit too long and now she's going to grow out of the tent she was raised in. She has been in veg 10 weeks. When I say veg I mean since the day she broke through soil and sprouted her first set of serrated leaves. The pics reflect her size as of today, her first day in flower. I know at best I can only hope for an estimate but how much bigger is she going to get in flower? Once she grows out of her tent I may have to move her to a storage shed. The shed is wired for electrical so she'll have what she needs there but I am a bit worried about spiders cuz it's spider city out there. So..
1.) How much larger can I expect her to be at finish?
2.) She needs 8 weeks in flower,no?
and
3.) Is she going to smell any worse than if I had not let her go this long?
4.) How much of a threat are spiders to a cannabis plant?

Spiders eat bugs that eat cannabis.. so no problem... I would pull those tops down Lst style and let her grow back up.. or throw a tomato cage around her..or bamboo supports.. They stink as much as they stink.. no way of telling how much bigger she'll get .. that depends on you...

I did pull the tops down. I did so late in the game but those pics are of her spread eagle a bit. I split her main stem just over the 4th node (where she's topped) by tying down her bottom two. Can I continue to tie her down little more each day? Or is that stress and not a good idea in flower?

Just make sure you don't split any more.. I use tape... or a zip tie in extreme cases.. yes it is ok to continue training up until about the third week of flower.. the stems start getting woody...easily breaking.. so shape it it while you can.. This could get interesting.. good luck

this is going to be interesting. welcome to RIU. please update us on your progress and good luck! i don't know if i would want to transfer her out to spider city--it's so relaxing watching them flower, and i definitely would not feel relaxed in spider city. definitely do some training from how she is looking now, but you are going to have a nice harvest at the end

That plant hasn't filled the tent why would you want to move it? I see lots of space you can use I'd veg at least another 3 weeks with it only being the one plant in there, have you been running that hps all 10 weeks?

I once spiked a 6' branch down to the ground.
Its response was to grow 6' high new branches from every node on the one I tied down.

SUPER CROP!

Damn, it's so easy and answer and nobody gets that?

If the plant stretch's to be closer then it needs to be to the light. Simply pinch the the stem, slowly and carefully till it begins to collapse between your fingers and bend it over till it sag's a bit. It will not hurt or make the plant go longer.
It will recover and the best part is the plant will now give a bit of priority to those branch's that you "crop over". The buds will turn up to the light and you will increase your yield.

No fuss, no muss, no moving.....Boom DONE!

thats silly because there is no such thing as too long in veg, we all know we can top a plant a hundred times before we wish to flower, right down to the last leaf at the soil or just a trim off the top or sides too. did you know that?
you grow a plant to the size you are comfortable with, a size you can manage/one you are confident of your ability to provide necessary space and resources to . Could be a tiny 6 inch cola or a 12 foot plant, you decide, get to it already.

Indoors there is, your light will only supply so much energy that can be converted to flowers....

You miss the point, you veg up to a certain size, depending on your light coverage in flower, once the plant shot out another 2 or 3 times in size.

Why you so aggro?
Do you even smoke?

you veg until the plant is the size you want it to be, if its too big you top it. I grow 11 foot tall plants sometimes, I bend them , tie them, twist them, no matter the size in veg or flower, common sense says knock them down , tip them over, tie them up , make a boquet, all kinds of ways to manage a tree in a small place. easy, thought every one knew this sorry

In a ball park answer, anyone can correct me if im wrong since size plant wasnt really an issue to me to begin with. But i did have plants that finish 5ft to 6ft. I was vegging it indoors for about 3ft and finished outdoors of about 5ft.
1. About twice or half the height when u were vegging, they tend to stretch when they start to flower.
2. About 8 weeks or so depending on genetics and condition
3. I couldnt answer because of so many factors like genetics and how u treat ur plants etc...
Note: i dont want to veg my plants long enogh anymore so i was also looking for a topic if there is a optimal height on vegging a plant to get the best result of a more potent pot. If that question is even viable to get an answer.
4. None at all

No I have not been running the HPS all 10 weeks. She vegged from seedling under a single tube flouro ustil she had 4 nodes then she was topped at the 4th node and placed in the tent under a 1000w MH bulb that was only dialed up to 600w. I'd love to dial her up to 1k but the heat is an issue and the hps to me seesm much hotter than the mh bulb was.

That light is the reason I'm considering moving her. Temps are way too high and I'm scared she'll herm. I have some slightly burnt leaves on the top of the topmost tops so I know she's hot. That light needs to be higher but it's at max height in the tent. Needed a much taller tent. The tent is only 5 ft.

Jesus... was she far along? These branches are getting very stiff and thick and hard to bend. Do I approach this slowly? Now that she's in flower will the training cause enough stress that I should be worried about stressing her in flower? Or is it a minor, acceptable level of stress?

UPDATE: 2 days after this post I flipped her. She is now in flower on a 7 to 7 schedule. Trying to get the tent moved to a darker place because I fear light leaks because of an exterior light that creeps in the room where my tent is through a glass sliding door. Threw some king size comforters over the tent and threw eights over the bottom of the comforters to prevent light leaks through the zipper and just for an additional level of safety. Hope to God she doesn't herm and produces great bud. *fingers crossed*

Easy to do when they get thirsty, I got paranoid as it was right next to a wall.
I just grabbed it by the tip then I bent it down enough to put a rock over the tip.
Was hilarious when the branches shot up and started flowering in next to no time.

I just said, fuck it, and grew them out.
