I was greatly disappointed with my GG#4 from DHN because I received a dud clone. GG#4 is known to shoot out dud branches, if those branches are used to make cutting, now you have dud clones circulating. Most people aren't aware of the GG#4's dud branch issue, and I'm not even sure if Dark Heart is, either. For your sake I hope they figured it out and you don't suffer the same fate I did.

I still trust and use Dark Heart Nursery clones. It's not like they passed off inferior genetics on purpose, it wasn't intentional, and like I said hopefully its been addressed.

I've read this before & only 1 review I guess I'm playing the lotto just out of curiosity did the dud display any traits that would make it identifiable & I would imagine if I were to take clones I should come up with way to identify which limb I clone from

The dud has small leafs, weak stems, almost no smell in flower, and shit yields. All of the info about the GG#4 dud is hidden somewhere in the Clone Only thread but the search function isn't turning up the posts I'm looking for.

My best recommendation is to grow her out, and if she's the real deal, reveg her, then clone. Cloning her right now is a lot of extra work/resources for something that may not pan out.

she has fat leaves but I think they were on her at the time they cloned her I only run 2 lights 2 plants on the led & a single under the hps soon to be replaced with with a 315 I know you're pretty knowledgeable about sherbet & sunset would they suit my style ? I'm wanting to try it I quit growing pink panties because of low yield & not potent but sherbet sure looks good & your pic that Dhn uses is smokin

Thanks for the compliment, Herk. I like Sherbet a lot, for how she grows, and her effects. Her scent during bloom made me fall in love with her. Her yield is moderate. In my opinion, she has decent potency, enough to make me forget about my aches, pains, and worries. She makes me smile a lot. You may want to give her a try sometime.

They say Sunset is supposed to be more potent, but yield less, in comparison to Sherbet. I haven't run Sunset yet so I can not speak from experience.

that sounds like good shit r/p skywalker was a good strain like that that had that all is well with the world high & could make you overlook some aches & pains too but having all these clones close at hand is just so much easier than popping seeds

Josey wales the creator of gg4 verified that dhn has a legit gg4. Now are they circulating that cut I don't know.

If it doesn't have the leaf curl then it's bunk.

I don't trust dhn at all. I got some cuts from a club that were from dhn. It was a full tray untouched. I was the 3rd person in line. I ended up getting two totally different cuts from that tray. WTF

I have the DHN Sunset, Sherbet, GSC, and GDP. They have only been vegging for about 3 weeks, but they look real;y good. The 2 GSC's are nearly identical, so I'm pretty sure that at the very least they are the same strain. They are the slowest of the bunch also. I will be posting pics in the Clone Only thread as they flower.

First time DHN GG#4 had great return, 6 ozs in 5 gallon container, almost too stoney to smoke ( almost), second time from place on the north coast and not as stoney or as prolific , but still better than most stuff. Expect big stretch and last three weeks to really fill out. Did 70 -72 days and AOK. That was all this last 12 months or so.

thanks hippy I'll be indoors in dwc either led or cmh if it goes in the led room I'm wanting to grow it besides sour patch kids which is sour'd-x-candy land hopefully they share some of the same growth characteristics

Here's mine, just starting the 3rd week of flower. I'm not sure if she came from DHN. I got her from a trusted friend in Cali.
