#QuantumLifeCurrently under the QB's, these are white widow's from seed and a few OG Kush clones. First run, I will move the light into the flower tent when they are ready. I'll be putting a 2 board kit into the veg tent.

This was my last run under burple, a single Blueberry, 17" tall, about 10zips of solid bud. I use 3'x3' tents. The Blueberry was DWC, the QB run is top drip in rockwool. I'm hoping to blow away the blueberry. I did get some bleaching on the blueberry, had the led's a little to close.

It wont let me post urls yet but google photonfantomdesigns and under shop its the sunboardDo you have a link to the sun boards?
Then get quantum boards because the other guys are shamelessly poaching Steve and Robin's hard work. Think of any price premium as a tip for their innovation, and for their customer service. I've always found both to be well worth the investment. It wont let me post urls yet but google photonfantomdesigns and under shop its the sunboard
There made at the same place as quantums and have the same samsung diodes
Fuckin russians .... Thanks trumpThen get quantum boards because the other guys are shamelessly poaching Steve and Robin's hard work. Think of any price premium as a tip for their innovation, and for their customer service. I've always found both to be well worth the investment.
You are better off with " the original " 561c boards : Quantum. Both @robincnn and @Stephenj37826 have many many hours designing and testing designs. They make absolutely sure they are on top of their product .... They will Vf test and mark boards to work together ( multiples ) and would only ship quality where as this fucking clone boards ( as with others ) RAPIDLY slap shit together to get to market. They don't even have a complete website up ( mailbox coming soon ) ..... SKETCHY AS FUCK.What are better quantum boards or sun boards? In About to build a 2 new veg lights but I keep getting told ones better then the other back and forth so im a bit confused on what to buy
Ok thank you, I only started researching diy leds on friday and was suggested those boards last night thats. Yeah I couldn't find any data on them and there's almost zero grows with them that I could find so I figured best to ask the community and see. I only saw 3 people on ig using his boards and they all built there lights last week. Yeah quantum boards are my first choice but when the owner of the fantom boards offered me 8 boards for $300 I had to ask your guys opinions. Thank you for saving me from buying the knock offs! You are better off with " the original " 561c boards : Quantum. Robin / stephen DO and WILL answer ANY questions about their product. They monitor this thread regularly , while still completing orders. That speaks volumes in my book. I waited weeks before hearing from a " service tech " from another LED BRAND. I knew about the Spyder lights and Nextlight , but didnt want to drop a lot of coin for smaller indoor growing , then i came across Quantum. I jumped onboard around last christmas , myself and another grower @ChaosHunter built some initial boards and both of us were going back and forth about the experiences with these. I never looked back. I plan to build my 3rd rig after some of the buyers get their orders in , i'm patient.
As far as $50 boards from those guys seems like a red flag. There is no board data OR driver matching or sphere testing. Slapping ( uMol numbers ) on a picture means nothing.
Top builders like @Growmau5 built his KICKASS Quantum Canopy rig and is killin it. If he builds AND USES this product , its a fucking no brainer.
QB is in 4000k / 2700k / 3000k and 5000k , where as the flea market Fantom are offering a single spec as of now.
Research goes a long way .... Lurk the builds going here and the grows. The plant pics ALONE will sell you .
Ok thank you ill definetly go with the quantum boardsThen get quantum boards because the other guys are shamelessly poaching Steve and Robin's hard work. Think of any price premium as a tip for their innovation, and for their customer service. I've always found both to be well worth the investment.
If you get QB's you've got a lot of help and support from people who also have them on here and you're also helping people who support and help pay for this site, if you buy sun boards you've got ........................?Ok thank you ill definetly go with the quantum boards

Are there any plans for 6400/6500k boards?
Check this complete grow out, not only a good example but a great example of ScrOG too.Ok thank you, I only started researching diy leds on friday and was suggested those boards last night thats. Those boards are 36v @2.8 amp, so max 100 watts. The QB are 150 watts max if that makes any difference to anyone. I would/will buy the QB boards from horticulturelightinggroup com as they have a track record here.It wont let me post urls yet but google photonfantomdesigns and under shop its the sunboard

No worries man. Easy to miss if new folks don't look in the right places and its too good of an example to be missed!@coreywebster cheers for linking my diary, hopefully newbies to quantums will enjoy the journey
