presently getting 1130mm5621c s6 x 2mm aluminum x 22mm 54 v strips custom made for WHOLESALE by the 100Suncloak look just like what we want to do.
i think strips are the way to go "also"

Wow just thinking in my head about a cloaked 1.2x0.8 using these strips makes me happy iI like the idea of surrounding lights very much and plan a similar build but very much smaller (1.2 * 0.8m) using 30pcs. of 560mm H-Series(6S5P/70mA each 561c/420mA each strip) and a HLG-320H-2100B for a 300w cloak.
Shit yeah nice one! That's what its all about right. How many lm561c per strip? How much is that setting you back? Probably cheaper AND ALU!presently getting 1130mm5621c s6 x 2mm aluminum x 22mm 54 v strips custom made for WHOLESALE by the 100

More efficient means more light from the same amount of power. 1000w H-Series produce more usable light as 1000w EB-Series. No better crop but more weight..
And the higher upfront costs are quickly restored with the extra income!
Or if you go the PPFD route, you need only 8-9 H-Series Strips to get the same footprint as 10 EB Strips.

Ah, that makes sense. I was thinking the other way.Pretty much this, if you put 1000w into an eb strip build and 1000w into a lm561c samsung build, the samsung will have a better crop.
To me "a better crop" in this case i meant same quality bud just more of it (more efficient light means more light to the plants at same power draw).
We were basically saying the same thing.
The intent of these isn't for people who have $1000+ budget to build a light. For people with small spaces and small budgets for a personal grow closet its hard to beat. For the street cost of an ounce you can have light more than capable of flowering a 2.5x2.5 where there is minimal heat output and the light can be a foot away from the plant. If you want efficiency and Wattage, cobs are still cheaper 16x Vero29 C and run them at 700mA. 57% efficient. Active cooling on them with heatsink USA, should be around 480 for the cobs +400 for drivers(higher estimation) +200 for heatsink/fans other driver. = $1080 pushing 800W perfect for replacing a 1000W hps
hey. do you have any link for that strips, what i need more, aprox. budget, it would really help me . i would like to buy them for my 1,8m x 1m x 2m grow room. but dont know how manyYou will get what you invest! Do not note such a stupid statements, only made to provoke ...
You can build great and efficient lights with only EB series strips, fact!
Hey jungpot!hey. do you have any link for that strips, what i need more, aprox. budget, it would really help me . i would like to buy them for my 1,8m x 1m x 2m grow room. but dont know how many
thx really appreciated!!! sry because i am such a noob this is my last question. how many o them ?Hey jungpot!
Bridgelux EB series, 156lm/w @700mA(165lm/w @350mA)
https://www.digikey.de/products/de?keywords=Bridgelux BXEB-L0560Z-30E2000-C-A3
Samsung H series, 179lm/w @480mA(same diodes as Quantumboards, probably other binnings)
https://www.digikey.de/products/en?FV=ffecd480
Samsung F series, 168lm/w @1120mA(same diodes as H-Series but driven higher)
https://www.digikey.de/product-detail/de/samsung-semiconductor-inc/SI-B8V261560WW/1510-2217-ND/6624001
These are only 2'ft. strips, 560mm. They are also available in 1'ft, 280mm and 4'ft. 1120mm and the F series also as double row strips. You can search on digikey's website by brand and series to find all strips of a series(Samsung H and F series, Bridgelux EB sereis).
BTW,
Longer strips are cheaper than shorter strips and double row is cheaper as single row. 700-800w should be enough for your 1,8m²/19,3sft. ~36-40w/sft. Take 3.000-3.500°k strips, they are good for both vegging and flowering.
Choose how efficient the strips should run, then calculate how much electricity is consumed by one strip. Then divide the result by the desired total performance.thx really appreciated!!! sry because i am such a noob this is my last question. how many o them ?
