Why dont robin and steven do the same? Or cutter? Or chilLED?Why don't you just drop us that manufactures link in the spirit of DIY?
i hope to wholesale..
That was kind of my point.....Why dont robin and steven do the same? Or cutter? Or chilLED?
You tell us its another leech and sell guy, dafuk this forum. I have no problem making $$$ when you have expertise but come on what willl happen next, the "experts" won't share anymore their found on spectrum, CRI, thermal management, fearing leechers making money on their work. Its like waiting the new light of @Greengenes707, analysing what colors he use then make $$$ on a DIY version more affordable. This + the topics of disguised advertising, nice futur for the diy section.
That was kind of my point.....
Not that long ago people shared information freely, in the hopes of pushing the limits of Grow lights. Mostly because of what was available to the public was overpriced, overhyped shit.
Now it's a bunch of forum members turned Vendors/ Lighting "Experts" trying to make a buck off somebody else. Most of which who learned what they know about LED grow lights from this very forum. Which is FREE information.
Everybody has a light company now. Pretty sad.

"So its ok if i grab the pics and the dimensions of OLD MOTHER SATIVA strip, then send to alibuy pcb compagnies and make profit."

It would probably be more cost effective to make 2 different lights why would you want a bunch of lights in one? Half the light would be off the whole time with little to no benefit and to the consumer would cost doubleIf I may offer a couple ideas:
If you drop a couple 5000K strips in between, you would have a more complete light for both veg and bloom.
Also, you could put 2 5000k + 2 3000k on a separate o/o for veg/clone, then click on the rest of the 3000ks for flowering
It makes it much more desirable to more people= more sales. It would probably be more cost effective to make 2 different lights why would you want a bunch of lights in one? Half the light would be off the whole time with little to no benefit and to the consumer would cost double
Ya if the idea is to cater to the 2x2 grower your right I thought he would be making lights for larger scale growsIt makes it much more desirable to more people= more sales.
This is a personal user grower light.
Space is typically an issue.
Adding 2 5000k strips and an o/o switch doesn't cost much (or replace 2 of the 3000k with 2 5000k).
A fair amount of seedlings/clones can be grown without wasting >50% of the energy and life expectancy: 3000k has~ 60% of the life expectancy as 5000k
