First Logic put me on turtle mode for absolutely no reason, then he banned me for the same and invited me to join RIU.
it is. that site is literally in the dark ages on informationThe best LED work is going on right here.
I didnt say anything about cree other than you guys keep quoting the prices at 50 bucks a chip lol.the comparison i referenced was shitizen and the new vero gen 7 and those numbers are here on this site using the same calc all you chipnerdz keep using haha.when's that video of you testing cobs coming ? Ya know with the lab coat and goofy hairnet lol.like i said show us how you use that sphere and I'll think about donating 1 of my dd bins so we can skew the numbers back the other way.nobody in shitizen land wants to see 200lpw @ 35w per cob, they just like the story about how cheap citi is and how great they work on cv driversit is. that site is literally in the dark ages on information

not sure who's crunching numbers for you @sixstring2112, but anybody who comes to the conclusion that CXBs are nearly 50% more efficient than the competitors simply isn't using the provided data correctly. There's just no way to spin that, its straight up bad information. Also knowing what we know and expecting one brand of phosphor-based cob to act dramatically different than another manufacturer's of the same spectrum is really wishful thinking. photons are photons.
I dont think he misses you as much as you think lmaoFirst Logic put me on turtle more for absolutely no reason, then he banned me for the same and invited me to join RIU.
So I did.
30,000 posts later I'm sure he's still regretting whatever 'logic' told him that was a good idea!
The best LED work is going on right here.
There's a lot more attitude here but there's also a lot more passion for the plant in all its myriad aspects. I'll take it!it is. that site is literally in the dark ages on information

not me. they havent been $50 for over a year nowI didnt say anything about cree other than you guys keep quoting the prices at 50 bucks a chip lol.
can you link that? which citizen was used. theres obviously a lot of variables but even the cheapest of the clu048 are only 10% or less down in efficiency at low currents.. at a third to half the price.the comparison i referenced was shitizen and the new vero gen 7 and those numbers are here on this site using the same calc all you chipnerdz keep using
im about to do surgery on it so i can mount large active heatsinks for better data. right now im limited to about 80mm dia heatsink which i dont likewhen's that video of you testing cobs coming ? Ya know with the lab coat and goofy hairnet lol.like i said show us how you use that sphere
assuming its 5000k 70cri, i have nothing to compare it with as i dont stock any of the low cri/high lumen/low ppf chips. if its 5000, 5700k, or 6500k 80 cri ill give it a spinI'll think about donating 1 of my dd bins so we can skew the numbers back the other way.
lumens are for humans but im sure there are citi chips in that color that get there, no reason they wouldnt with similar phosphor/spectrum. if you tell us what color it is ill find a comparable citi color to run it againstnobody in shitizen land wants to see 200lpw @ 35w per cob
they work the same as any other cob on any driver, at half the price. sounds like a win to methey just like the story about how cheap citi is and how great they work on cv drivers
Honestly I don't even need to see any growlogs of whatever new chip/led comes out provided the spectrum is given and close enough to identical colour temps.it is. that site is literally in the dark ages on information

200 lpw at 35w sounds like a 70cri 5000k dd bin.not me. they havent been $50 for over a year now

i gotta hand it to you six, you dish it out, and take it just as well. heres your first installment lol
Bahahaha....!! Thanx buddy...i needed a laugh. Is this an AD? This guy doesn't have a clue.
I'm confused were u recommending blurples or just supplimental lights on a cob/ quantum board system? like a chilLED fixture or one of those types.Bahahaha....!! Thanx buddy...i needed a laugh.
Shoot me a message if you need any other accurate info...
Dooooode... it was a joke. Supra wasn't a noob and it wasn't his first foray into LEDs. Chronik was just giving him shit by recommending blurple LEDs. Most serious growers tossed out their blurple lights long ago, if they ever even had any. Supra has been here since 2009 and Chronik since 2012.I'm confused
Groovy baby. The joke was lost on meDooooode... it was a joke. Supra wasn't a noob and it wasn't his first foray into LEDs. Chronik was just giving him shit.
how much than for 12 cobs?pls tell meWhat would be the efficiency of cxb3590 3000k cb bin 36v running at 1.05 amps, there is no accurate info anywhere in the forum so I guesstimate 55%, is this a good guess. I wish I bought the 3500k cd bin it has 64% efficiency at 1.05 amps should have known the efficiency difference before I ordered them, stupid me.
Ordered mine from Jerry too very helpful and good service.
Watching GPW plummet and then shoot back up really highlighted for me just how important aeration can be. It made me re-appreciate something as simple as getting 2 zips per bucket LOLhi supra! good to see you.
im working on healthier roots this run myself
stupid PM! i always treat like i didnt get rid of it for an extra month after i think its gone. ive given up on taking new genetics in. between pm spider and russet mites its just gross out there
