Transplanting from outdoor to indoor

I started my seeds outdoors, they've been out doors for 4 weeks now, they look healthy with minor problems. I just moved them indoors. The are about 10-12 inches, they've produced 6 knots each; I have them in 3 gallon pots. I am planning to put them under 12/12 for 4 more days before switching to 8/16; what do you guys think? Will 4 days be enough before I switch them?

Do you recommend I move them to bigger pots like 5 gallons or 10 gallons, I got the space.

I am using ordinary soil with compost that I've made... all organic.

Edit: planning on putting them on 18/6 for 4 days' before switching them to 12/12
