They are both the same. the people have neither.
Apologies but I fail to see how private funds and public funds are the same thing?

You've never been disrespectful to me so I can happily and respectfully agree to disagree because I think it's a subjective thing.

The fact they are private does not provide security from terrorist activity. how ever subtle.

Facts, dude. Been through this with @ttystikk and realized you two have drunk the koolaide. The democratic party is in full support of the effort to repeal the Citizen's United ruling but Bernie's babies will have none of it. You are carrying right wing politician's water by your vile lies. Fact: Every democratic party senator supported Bernie's bill to amend the Constitution to repeal CU and were foiled by Republican filibuster.

You guys dismiss the facts recorded in the Congressional Record. Assholes like you are the reason we now have Trump. Assholes like you are going to make Democrats re-taking congress in 2018 unlikely. You wear blue and spew red lies.
Establishment Democrats support repealing Citizens United like they support universal healthcare

Wow, that's a lot of wounded warrior funds, lead abatement, sidewalks.
Quist was outspent by almost 10 to 1 yet came within 6 points of winning...

But we're losers.

Where exactly was the fucking Democratic Party in this special election?! Same story in all the races across the country!

They had the money, they sat on it because they don't want the people to realize they actually have a choice.

You want to know why I don't trust Democrats, @Fogdog @UncleBuck ? Look at how much they spent on all these special elections; JACK SHIT. THAT message is coming through loud and clear and you idiots want to call US naive?!

Name one Democratic senator that voted to sustain the Republican filibuster of Sander's bill to amend the Constitution and repeal the CU ruling.

You can't.

So, to make yourself appear less foolish, show me a factual basis for your belief. Not partial false news propaganda but something substantial, as substantial as a Senator's vote in the Congressional Record.

Based upon his actions regarding the Seth Richards story, Cerik Uyger is a false news reporter. If you try to name him, I'll laugh.

So, If Quist was more progressive he would've won?
He was outspent by almost 10 to 1, yet came within 6 points of winning.

The Democratic Party wanted to make an example of him and all the rest of the Progressive candidates during this special election, to point at them and say it's not a viable strategy.

They're throwing Progressives under the bus because they'd rather lose elections than give up control of the party and the money that comes with it.

This is why millions of Americans are forming their own political action organizations, from Justice Democrats to Represent.us. I see the beginning of a tsunami that will either wipe out or subsume the Democratic Party, if the Dems don't get with the progressive program.
