But my daughter and I after grill out today talked about all of the things going on and we may get cc permits. She's a nurse and sees lots of very angry people now. Things are changing. It's sad what direction we are taking. And it seems nobody gets it. Glad I'm 70.

Our society is coming apart due to being squeezed by the widening income gap, making everyone feel less secure and making more people desperate just to survive.

It's a recipe for violent crime, distrust and fear.

Shared prosperity makes for a safer society, which makes for more prosperity for everyone, including those who are fortunate enough to be rich and pay higher taxes.
