I gotta check that out, seems awesome.
I tried to run a fast buds green crack fem but it died due to an error on my part, how does it stack up to the photo version?

I haven't had the pleasure of running some legit photo gorilla glue yet.
It's alright , but not some cecil c green crack, huge difference the original is super special in the flavor department. They just renamed some strain green crack that they made, it doesn't have much to do with the original other than it has some skunk in the genetics. If you want original genetics don't run auto's, they are all crosses with ruderalis.

I've heard similar experiences with fb gsc auto, to me when I ran it it seemed like some og
The fastbuds green crack came out pretty uniform, all the seeds had similar growth, yield, and flavor, it's got a weird auto flavor to it if you know what i'm talking about. There's definitely a place for them, but with the access to genetics and seeds i have , it's not for me.

If i were u id stick more to your photos .....u seem to Be more concerned about yeild and as previously posted above the autos take longer use more juice and in the end don't yield as much as a photo....the autos will be better used in between ur main grow at times when u want to try different strain or fill a gap....,why unless u have a good reason would u spend so long growing a plant to get less in the end........?

Autos are like the home grown equivalent to a bag of " 'dro" where as most photo period can yield you are smoke akin to some top shelf at a dispensary, how ever people's results very... I've seen people yield very little from some photos just as some have with autos and vice versa.... as for lights you dont need more hours inherently with autos ...not sure where anyone got that from....they are ruled by hormones and time so you can use 12/12 from the start even if that is your inclination (to save energy and cash)....they do make an excellent in between crop for photos but it's straight up foolish to assume them to be LESS efficient than an auto and as breeders get better at stablizing the autoflower trait while increasing the potency and other desirable traits one can only assume my argument for them will become more apparent and ring louder of truth....and check some grow journals from folk who aren't bias against autos in the same way they were to female seeds they don't take longer at least not usually ...

Really taco.....u reckon an auto will keep up with a photo in exact same circumstances .....ill tell u what.....ive got an amnesia xxl auto(freebie)in with my photo UK cheese at the moment(had the space so threw it in) their just getting ready for flower ......all have been trained and topped so when their done I will post results as to wot was easiest to grow and finally how they yielded.......I'm assuming you've grown autos befor my freind......?

Sounds........constructive.........not sure how you feel that's an absolute as to how to the two ultimately stack up against each other but for the sake of argument go ahead.....yes I've grown both autos and photos before.....are you under the impression that everything is an absolute in life, that some photos aren't heavy yielders and that there aren't heavy yielding autos...my friend?

Just my 2 cents but I've tried 4 auto's (outdoor only) and one was ok and that was think different. I'm not even concerned about yield really, just potency and the auto's all had issues re mild, potency, etc. With the other 3 being really crappy lol. But I'm still trying to find the one. IMO they make for a great outdoor early harvest plant, if they can make it potent then it's a win. Just started Some GG auto's and blue Mazar I think, fuck I forget lol.

my thoughts exactly....auto are easy and can produce decent yields but the potency is noticeably less than most photos

Well like I said that's been my experience for the most part but 4 is not a good group to judge so I'm keeping on trying lol. If I do find one you can bet your last dollar I'll fem that fucker, seeds prices are hard to take lol. Up here it would be perfect to have the plant done and in before the planes start ;).

As far as autos vs. photos , to each their own. I find the potency comparable. However Auto Genetics have and are currently being refined.
10 years ago , would say Get the Fuck outa Here , but NOW there are much better breeders and stock.

I was a Sensi Seed grower for awhile - with Shiva Skunk and Cali Indica they were ok , after a while they seemed to be close in overall harvest , not bad not great.

Breeders like Mephisto , Soma , Dutch Passion among others have great strains that are autos.

Ruderalis component ( to me ) is just a preference to structure and overall height.
You can Sog or SCROG them , you can top them ( some of them ) , just no cuttings.
If i want a mother or a cutting plant THEN i would go for a photo.

For YOUR MED NEEDS ( not commericial or bulk ) they work fine. I grow for myself and wife. I can average between 125 grams ( smaller autos ) to my 4 footers ( 200-316 ) and have done better a few times. . Better the Genetics Better the Results ..

To me it isnt a Dick contest but " the smoke ". It's still weed for crying out loud ... Lol

I keep trying the "it's great smoke" and so far it's been a big disappointment but in saying that it's kind of the same with a lot of the "newer" photo strains that leave me wanting after reading rave reviews about them. I'll just keep plucking my way through them one summer at a time and grow photo's under the lights. Also is it not true that they should be under at least an 18 hour cycle to get the most from them yield wise? Has anyone actually tested the different light cycles to see if it makes any difference?

Agree with @Budzbuddha Mephisto has some really good things going on. You can order direct from them also and they load you up with freebies. I've heard really good things about dinafem also. I think I'm going to try them next, got some mephisto going now with more on the way. Their (mephisto) customer service is top notch also. Royal Queen seeds are not to be slept on either, I got a freebie called quick one that impressed the hell out of me. Here's a few pics about 10 days before I chopped her.

Sorry if its turned out to be a bit of a he said she said argument guys but I can only go with my personal experience and that experience SHOWED me that any auto I've grown has NOT Been on par with my photos......but .....as mentioned before i think using them outdoors is the way to go to maximise your chances of getting the best out of your autos......don't get me wrong they have came a long way from when they were first introduced......
