hey everybody i was just curious about Colloidal Silver, i have read some things on it and i always see that you are supposed to or at least all i read is after collecting pollen from the branch you sprayed use the pollen on another fem plant. so i was curious can you use it on the same plant it was produced from? also 2nd question what dose colloidal silver do when sprayed on a male plant?? i couldn't find much of anything on these questions..

I saw a report when flowering ithink u spray female with the silver Nd all seed will be female but plant can't be smoked

yes you could pollinate the lady branch assuming you get a lady branch. I personally after trying CS would rather pollinate a non sprayed plant, because CS is soooo powerful you might not get a lady branch on your plant. It is shocking how well a little bit of electrified silver water works to change sex in plants.

About dosage I ran mine for 12 hours before using and always used CS water that was made within 48 hours. I would check EC was below 1 and ph was reasonable. I forget what it was exactly, I should have done a grow journal on it

Spraying a male doesn't create buds that's why there's nothing written about it. The spray stops a hormone needed to create buds. This results in male flowers on a female. You CAN NOT consume anything that was sprayed with CS. So there can be no overspray. I won't spray a branch because of that. If I want pollen I spray the whole plant. I just veg less.

I think we are talking about spraying a know female plant to make her male, and what to do with the pollen. About smoking Sprayed plants I don't think you know you are talking about , having trace amounts of silver in your weed ain't going to do anything to you. Not that you would want to smoke the sprayed plants... BECAUSE they are male

Someone to me that it's was harmful to your lungs to smoke it with the silver on it......idk though never have never will so idk

You should look up smoking CS, people actually do it on purpose, I am not advocating smoking CS. I am just saying we should stop being pussies about supposed toxins.

i have read a lot on it but i just wanted to know if you spray a single branch on plant (A) then cut the branch collect the pollen which is female pollen because the spray blocks the i think (Y) chromosome from forming witch makes it female pollen. so if you take the pollen from the branch of plant(A) can you come back and pollinate another branch of plant (A)... all i read is get pollen from plant (A) and put on plant(B) and then you have fem seeds. so i just want to know if you use it on the same plant it was extracted from will it make unstable seeds or what? i plan on breading wounder woman and somango XXL to form wounder women XXL because well she will be thick haha....but i would like to get just some fem ww and fem somango as well just because.

and on the spraying a male plant i figure it wouldn't do anything.but since it blocks the male chromosome from being formed would that not affect it or would it just never become a flowering male or would it not make pollen?? also you would not want to smoke the bud you sprayed because it would be a male branch and after being sprayed so much it would have a pile of silver on it anyway...

well you are not changing the plant genetically, so, if the seeds form, and and the seeds sprout,, and the girl was a solid girl to begin with, I would say you would be good

That says male plant not a reversed female. Maybe he isn't being clear. But he sure as hell is asking about spraying a male.

As for smoking silver go right ahead and do it if that is what floats your boat. But I wouldn't do it myself. So I wouldn't suggest to someone else to do it. But if you do it and want to promote it go ahead. You're the first person I've seen suggest it's ok to smoke. Even if it were why the hell would you want to? If someone can't spray what they want reversed without over spraying I'd question what else is on that crop I don't want if I were their customer. I go out of my way not to get anything on my plants after transition to flower.

The short answer is yes.

However, the length of time it takes to turn the girl into a male pollen producer can be awhile. I recommend, having a couple of clones ready from whichever plant(s) you hope to pollinate and putting them into flower at various times. That way you'll have a girl in flower at the right time as the timing of when you actually get viable pollen can vary. With girls, timing is everything.

You could cut several clones from the same plant you are spraying to create the pollen or use a completely different plant, doesn't matter.

I did it with a trans Siberian. Started spraying in late flower, it did take very long, I ran the plant far past the chop but if seeds is all you want then it'll work.

Silver is not a toxin, it is a metal, and it does have negative effects on humans upon inhalation, ingestion or topical exposure, namely Argyria.
It is not a life threatening condition but it will mean you will look like smurf for the rest of your life.

But you would have to smoke crazy amounts of silver sprayed buds regularly for many years for something like that to develop.

I usually buy 50ppm off of amazon and it works great. I sprayed it once a day from the time I flip 12/12 until I see flowers popping. I allow it to pollinate itself (Great way to preserve clone only strains) and also use the pollen on others. I am doing exactly that right now but this time I am trying my hand at making my own silver using a CS generator that I made DIY.

Don't smoke the silver sprayed plant. Just use it for work.

The reason U use pollen from plant a to plant b ,is timing
If U spray 1 branch, by the time the pollen is ready, the female flowers (untreated) have past there prime on that same plant
But U can still pollinate plant a , its called Selfing, U just dont get a lot of seed
This is why people make a whole plant into pollen then store it for future use, or plant the lady U want to pollinate, 3 weeks later , than the 1 U want to treat, by doing this your pollen should be ready , when the later planting is at optimal time to accept pollen
