Yeah I am trying to find another 3 or 4. I think that they might be almost as good as putting the plants in the ground. You wouldn't happen to know how many gallons they hold would you?
I already have about 4 wheelbarrow loads of composted horse manure just raring to go. I want to make it into some "super soil". I also have probably another 4 truckloads of manure to be composted. So next year I should be all set.
Some where around 30-45 gallons would be my guess. You had to dump the block out of the tub or the damn cows would try to eat the plastic.
Ask about mushroom compost at your local feed and seed store. It's cheap as dirt. I get a scoop {almost 1 cubic yard} for 15 bucks. Mixed with peat moss, potting soil, other composts and amendments, it makes a pretty good soil.
