DIY with Quantum Boards

the constant Current Region is the voltage operating range. two boards would be at about 100V and the tolerance of the constant voltage will allow them to run correctly. I've run 2, Citi 1818 from an HLG240H-C1400.

Thanks mate. not familiar with all those terms.

Trying to get some of these today. Has anyone gone from 600w HPS to these and see a huge drop temps?

Now that summer is here im hoping to save additionally on air conditioning with these lights.

Looks like end of the road for GSG clones - full fade and drop off leaves . Since I up the power it seems to have cut the finish time down at least 5 days compared to last GSG.
I was expecting at least another week but triches are " lactating " ... Lol

The ice bomb has exploded ... ( 1 gallon sack ) ... @HighLowGrow style grow
I didn't think it would do as well as a typical container ... I was wrong.

@GardenGuv as far as I'm aware it's 2 max in series. Give robin a shout to confirm.
guys, does the hlg240-1400 run 2 288 boards in series or only 3?
Don't confuse QB288 and QB304
With 288 you can do max 5 in series
With 304 only 2 max in series.
This is because connector rating is 300V
288 is 54V so you can do 5 in series
304 is 108V so you can do only 2 in series

240-1400 can do 3 of 288 in series
@pop22 thanks for the screen shot
Looks like 240-1400 is 89 to 179 V
So 288 being 54V you can do 3 in series.

Led gardener has a new part 2 video. He is awesome and will be covering all this in detail.
He will bless us with his video in today or tomorrow I think. It's almost ready. I will post here as soon as it is public on led gardeners you tube channel

What's the best flower only K? I usually use 2700k with hps but it looks like you get way more spectrum with the 3 or 4k according to those charts. Also I wonder if it's more economical to buy 4 smaller heatsinks instead of the big slate 5 cuse of the shipping

Question for you LED experts out there... is there any LED controllers that I can use to control 2 boards that will dim them based solely off of room temperature? Most of the dimmers I have seen can simulate light cycles and even clouds and shit, but I don't see any mention of being able to set a temp. probe to 78F and have the lights dim to whatever % to keep the room there. Or even turn off completely if need be... Any ideas?

I've been interested in this capability for a while but it seems like it's not available without some kind of complicated DIY arduino setup.

They make temperature switch's that provide a set resistance once temp gets to high. @robincnn knows more.

I just ordered my 4x qb304 and a slate 5! Excited! but still slightly confused about matching drivers. Is there a single driver that can power 4x qb304 at 90%-100% or would I need 2 drivers? Thanks
