24k Gold hermied on me HELP!!!!!

Hello everyone, I'm new to the site so please excuse me if ive put this in the wrong place,,,
anyway I had 6 24kgold seeds from dna and I was around 10-11 days into flower after a 4-5 week veg and I noticed they were showing male and female preflowers, I google image searched and they were defo male preflowers so I chopped all 6 of them as I found male parts on all 6 of them however prior to this I took 2 cuttings from each one of the 6 plants my question is will the cuttings most likely herm on me too or do you guys think its more the fact they suffered a slight bit of environmental stress cause I left my fans running on high one night and the tent got cold, I also overfed by accident prior to there death....lol, but if anyone could shed some light onto the cutting thing that would be great thanks!!!!

I assume you took clones before forcing flower? If so, I would say you've got a 50/50 chance. If they hermed due to environmental stress you have a good chance to eliminate the problem, as long as you correct the stress issues. If it's in the genetics you're probably doomed. I've always heard good about DNA genetics though.

Did they show sex before you initiated flower?

Yeah at least, prolly more like 70/30 they are going to hermie again, sounds environmental but if they all did it then they are sensitive to disturbances , Find a better strain mate BB

I did I took them the day before I flipped them too flower and me too I thought if it were to doo with genetics surely only 1 or 2 of them would of hermed on me rather than all 6 you know? bit upsetting really as I have a pack of there og 18 sitting in the draw but I'm afraid to germ them incase the same happens with those ): and no they didn't show sex before flip

do you mean as in once my cuts root put them straight into a 12 12 light schedule and keep the original plants vegging until the cuts show the sex? sorry am a little confused and also new too the phenotype hunting :/ thanks for the advice though guys

Best of luck on the hunt, some pos took my only two strains i cared about and i'm looking for a super momma again too , its hard to find a really special keeper, it's getting harder each time someone mixes two plants together , just more shit to have to sort through.

thanks bro ill defo keep updating to let you guys know and ahh that's a shame man, I have this lemon mom who is an absolute gem, I have 2 different phenos of big buddhas Buddha kush og that are 3 weeks in but will just have to wait and see how they turn out, hopefully I have better luck with the og 18s,,, any reccomendations for good beans?

Never had any issues with dinafem, world of seeds or seedsman, peak seeds bc has good genetics for cheap. I have 8 NL from peak i just flipped , 7 are uniform as can be , one is a monster. Critical + 2.0 from dinafem is amazing if you like heavy sativa crosses.

ive heard a lot of good stuff about dinafem I think ill give them a try next time and to be honest I don't have a preference between indica or sativa I hunt more for taste in my buds than high,,, but that's just me

I have the buddhas at a friends and the lemon mom in my separate veg tent with the 24k cuts but since I cut the 6 original 24ks I put 2 ten inch Buddha kush ogs in there and the original lemon mom as she got too big for the veg tent

I know!! that's the whole reason I went and spent like 160 pound on 12 seeds and then 6 of em frickin hermie on me, and I looked back I didn't even overfeed them if anything I underfed them... definitely upsetting to say the least

Does your tent have any light leaks? That can make hermies pretty easily.

no light leaks but my fans are rkws so I have to adjust the dimmer manually so sometimes once the lights go off I have to unzip the tent and go inside to turn em down but only ever 30 mins after lights off max,,,, I dno I just don't see that making a huge difference but who knows ill be extra careful this time round...

I have a Tangie going right now that is beautiful. I got it as a freebie and it will definitely be a keeper. It's at 40 days of flower and it is looking and smelling fantastic. No hermie issues here. It's a bit testy on nutrients and it gave me some problems in veg finding the sweet spot, but when put in flower it exploded. I will try to get some pics later.
