Not in my experience, although mine had somewhat spindly branches that needed to be supported. I grew in 10gal. pots and the GG4 got about 5-1/2 feet tall

I also grew GG12 last year which is GG4 X Chernobyl- I prefer the effect from the GG12 as the GG4 makes me grow roots, LOL

Several seeds were started and numbered. The clones from the 4th one became GG#4.

It rained pretty much the whole month of October here, I nursed it through and cut it the end of the month, but nothing really finished as well as it could have.

A friend has one and was considering putting it outside, but had feared his climate (Maine) might not allow it to finish outside.

What does the 4 mean???

It's the 4th phenotype, I can't remember how many they had to choose from but they numbered them. Number one and for are the best ones. I personally like #1 better, it's more the kind of high I like.
