yup i guess only fate can decide. if worst comes to worst i will use string to hold it up.Even if the plant was perfectly standing straight when buds form it could fall over, it's always good to use support and to do it earlier before they actually need it will help the plants grow up straight along it and less stress later to the roots for example shoving a stake down in the pot when they're heavy buds on the plant in full budding mode can stall them, earlier is better.
Nice plant!
Do you move the pot at all? Mine grown in the ground will tilt toward the sun if one side has any shade at all.given it 3 days but its still leaning and not making a effort to stand straight. my only concern is that it becomes stressed when the flowers get heavier. should i train it to be upright or will it be fine?View attachment 3963424
yeah of course! learnt that with sunflowers when i was 4 . All of the others have straightened out that way in a day but this one just doesn't want to budge. Guess a plus to it is that the lower tier leaves get more sunlight.Do you move the pot at all? Mine grown in the ground will tilt toward the sun if one side has any shade at all.
Well it looks like you can name your plant ILene, or if you prefer something more Asian sounding - Irene. Nothing wrong with a little lean, except the buzz will probably be a little off center and cause you to walk as if one leg is shorter than the other.......yeah of course! learnt that with sunflowers when i was 4 . The plant looks great, keep up the good work and happy growing.
the photo was taken in a place where the wind was stagnant so the pic wouldn't come out blury but she gets a moderate breeze in the backyard and yeah im slowly day by day pinching them over.Bend it on over. Won't hurt a bit. It will actually help with yield. Nothing wrong with that plant. I bet its in a spot that doesn't get a lot of wind.
