It works with my light meter! THAT'S what "I" know!

Is it enough to make me change to T5? NO!

It works in the way some employ it. Just fine!

To me, and you. It is not a viable choice for our end result.....

Lets not get into a pissing match like the one you've got already...I have nothing to say about that one! It's not my business...It'll annoy both of us., and it's not worth it...

Why is it not a viable choice for our end result?

I just said it was a good option for a 2x4 cabinet grower.

And I have been begging with them for 2 years at least.

However,

My light meter shows not enough usable plant light for mature growth regardless of how many bulbs.

Same on my 4 and 8 bulb reflectors. And that is in a 3x3 tent with Mylar reflecting. Out in the open the light gets lost fast.

It's only a pissing match if we are both wrong.

Commercial grow in Oregon usin HID bulbs that I suggested based on my experiments. You can see the blues in the pic and guess what,,,, this is his second grow ever. He had a pot radio guy visit with a light meter and and he reported best indoor spectrum he has ever seen.

But what do I know LOL

not saying you are wrong, but i was under the impression that trichs are the plant's response to the UV as a sort of "sunscreen"
True, but by my observations with running 10k and 14k 400 watt MH it's more of the maturity factor of the trichs. Meaning I get a better ratio of cloudy to amber trichs than clear with running the uv lighting and that's running them at 2 hours a day in 30 minutes durations.

Lol. That's Frictions grow. He has help. You are a perpetual liar.

And of course. No credibility or credit given to the radio "guy". Your statements are to be pre disposed as fact according to you. And all the publicity pushing the rec market has so much validity anyway.

And all your "proof" is the same small group of people. And the ones with the best results there don't use your methods.

I wish I had the link. I read this in the midst of researching 315's.

A commercial grower compared running finishing bulbs with uv alongside the hps the whole cycle and only for the last two weeks and got the same finish time and lab reports.

The last two weeks of uv is all they do now according to the article.

No. Its is not clear. If you defend and parrot an idiot what does that make you?
Didn't actually go to that link did you?

I'm not "defending" anybody. I said his statement of "superior" was wrong....Once that was clear. Didn't I?

Why is it not a viable choice for our end result?

I just said it was a good option for a 2x4 cabinet grower.
1: Because we don't grow in a 2x4 cabinet.

2: It is - see above.

I still see no increase in the ambering of any trich's in those strains that have not been normally...With the use of UVB supplementation..

@Friction1957

You are becoming tiring. You have not answered a direct question from me or shown any valid proof of any claim you make in almost a year.

And you are still trying to get help in your defense from the same exact person as last year.

Isnt anyone new and more interesting on your side yet. Or is the side of mythical pot growing shrinking on you as real grow info permeates the market?

Lol ok Mr. 89 Chem. Quit acting like you're more than a closet grower you fake. You lie about your experience, you lie about your strains, and you copy/paste everything from google and rm3. You're a fucking poser

I was saying flushed finished product had less smell and taste.

But my plants are healthy and potent and smell to different degrees depending on strain and stage.

I hope you were making a joke:-)
He's right about smell, sort of.
I expect a certain amount of smell which changes gradually over time. When they suddenly get stinky, something is wrong.
I've got three sativa hybrids outdoors right now. Two of them smell a little bit and one of them is a stinky pig. The stinky one has issues in the root zone that I just started treating with hygrozyme and microbial tea.

Your analogy @Odin* is not a good one. A better one would be to compare a flush to a calorie deficit in humans. A deficit in humans (done correctly) can exhaust stores of body fat. Much the same as a flush in cannabis horticulture brings about some aesthetically pleasing attributes some of us refer to as a fade.

Have you never put yourself through a calorie deficit, fat people get thin and they don't die and often come out with better blood work.

Pointing out the cup wins demonstrates that a guy who flushed won, if it was horrible (bought cup) where is the protest to the wins?

You guys can be cynical about cups all you want, that does not take away from the wins.

The main point is that flushing is still a used practice and every bit a valid method as feeding to the end.

Can you qualify "in the know" in some manner that has some qualifications in any way? I only ask as you seem to find some need to let us know you know something, so what is it that you know that you only care to be so subtle about sharing?
Why can't stoners accept standard horticultural nomenclature for procedures they are performing? Why do they need to feel to invent names for every fucking growing technique they come up with? There aren't a hundred different individual ways to grow any other plant, same techniques, same names.

Everyone needs to feel special, dont they?:dunce:

I agree. I refer to a fresh garden smell. The more terps the more odor. Obviously.

But I unfortunately have also smelled the rotten smell of acidic wet soil and rotting roots :-(

I agree with your last statement here but have to tell you. I live deep in farmland and forest. And the local smaller farmers all do things differently and brand their stuff.

Just the different apple tree training techniques are quite interesting along the road to see.

Then the organic farmers and their "secrets".

All looks and tastes like home grown produce to me. :-)

I will let that egotistical and unfounded statement stand. It is and always has been your downfall.
Cool, let it stand, I've been experimentin with T5's longer than you've been growin and as I have said the results of those experiments have been duplicated by others

These are simple truths that your blind hatred and closed mind are unable to process
