So tell me, in his circumstances should he water till turnoff every day?....how would his pots EVER dry out and how would his plants airaite. .?I use 50/50 Coco perlite. Watered everyday in flood /drain resivior have since it came out of the humidty dome. It's pretty hard to over Water coco in cloth pots.
the process of watering coco so much draws oxygen to the root. it is a hydro system so must be treated as such.So tell me, in his circumstances should he water till turnoff every day?....how would his pots EVER dry out and how would his plants airaite. .?
Yup, flush out those old used nutrients and replenish with new fresh ones every day, coco is a hydroponics substitute if you treat it like dirt you will get soil results, treat it like hydro you will get hydro results.I'm not saying he should wait till his pot is bone dry......I water going on WEIGHT. ....if top layer (1 inch) is dry but below is moist then it's ready for water........so just to clarify would you guys say he should water even when his coco is still saturated. .....?
Exactly... to a degree. This applies if you've potted up correctly... The root should be using up the space or close to it to draw the nutrients. In this case if he has potted up correctly then he should be watering his coco correctly. If you treat coco like soil then you will get worse than soil yields as the ph fluctuates causing all sorts of nutrient problemsYup, flush out those old used nutrients and replenish with new fresh ones every day, coco is a hydroponics substitute if you treat it like dirt you will get soil results, treat it like hydro you will get hydro results.

If you are concerned about over feeding, lower your nutrient dose until you feel confident to increase the dosage, happy growing and good luck. Some Great replys guys.....I've done a couple of runs with coco now and have had some descent results (pretty much same as before when I grew in quality soil).....I was watering every second day with a little over a tenth of what the pot size is (25 ltr pot=3 ltr water)after hearing wot u guys have said I'm seriously considering moving to an every day watering. .......the only thing concerning me is giving my plants so much food(canna coco)my ppm is 900,ph is stable at 5.7 which I was pretty happy with, if I were to feed and water this amount every day would this not have a negative effect on my plants(burn)....how would u guys go about feeding using the canna line up(a+b,cannazym, calmag, canna boost)25ltr pots,do I stick to their schedule or give half.I've just started flower (5 days)strains r UK cheese, blue cheese, and a couple of outher seeds I had lying about ww,amnesia xxl (auto freebie)and tripple cheese.....
