1st grow .its been emotional

Well my 1st grow is finally and it's been emotional lol . A long haul but I'm happy with it . White widow 4 plants . 42 days veg. Topped and lst trained. . Plants never got massive nor wide maybe a foot tall in 3 gallon pots.. soil .. had my problems . A fair few. Hahaha . But got there . 10 weeks flower and today I chopped and trimmed . Never done it before . It was an experience.. didn't get a massive yield .. I wanted a lb hahaha . But I'm happy I haven't weighed it yet I want to do that dry . But anyway thank u all for help you gave me it got me to where I am today . I have more plants in flower 2 ready in 3 weeks and 5 gone in today .. 2 white widow bubblegum. 5 white widow amnesia haze .. 1st pic is of yield from one plant

Thank you budma ..I picked a small bud from the bottom of one plant the other day .fast dried it to try and holy shit it blew my head off. Iv kept a small bud off each to try but after that 1st one .I may leave alone . Very smooth smoke good smell with a high that creeps to a very strong stone and lasts .

always like to respond to good crops....my last grow way a mystery seed, when i finish, dried a little in the sun, and man, nice lemon taste, good lemon smell, after a few minutes it would just lay you back in the seat....later tastes the lemon would come out more and more, think i gave bud to a friend of mine, he said tasted smooth, and man it had a kick to it...


like i said, i always respond to good crops, you should be proud of your achievement....smoke away, smoke away

every plant is different some way fashion or form, a lot has to do with the grower in my experience and how much attention it gets....for me even i honestly don't do it, topping i think does more for yield than lst, lst in some way allows the plant to get all the light within the canopy and get all stems at the same height as the main cola. Me personally i like just growing it like mother nature intended, and let it become beautiful and smelly as it should. Just my thing, that's all. I like basics...

best thing to do, and as you do it, look at what the plant does, some plants like it, others won't, each one is different as they mature..

Congrats on your first successful grow ...remember to put some serious thought and time into your dry and cure ....it's not over yet ....but good job and good luck with future grows.


Makes me remember my first toke of my first solo grow....some prematurely harvested agent orange ...lol...but it was the best I ever had ....because I grew it.

Got it hung in a grow tent temp 70f. No lights no fans just a filter .gonna leave to it feels dry on the outside then pop into mason jars

Nice work. NOW is the most important time for taste and smoke. I wait until the stems snap before putting in mason jars usually takes 5-7 days with my small branches and wet trim. Then I still burp them for a week.

Yes I'm going to wait till stems snap then mason jar them for 2 weeks with a daily opening

I recommend a soft snap, meaning it snaps, but doesn't break apart. And I never, as it's so frequently coarsely termed, chop my plants. I uproot her gently, loosen and clean the roots of soil, and hang the whole plant to dry by the root tip. I believe the flavor is smoother in a short cure than when cutting buds off the stalk.

They have been hanging now 4 days buds feel dry just not at the soft stem snap it still bends. Although don't bounce back all the way

Nice yield Mate. Thought you was the other side of the pond till I saw that cig box with UK duty paid. Like your strain choices too. I'm currently running 3 wwxbb and 1 nlxc in coco

I'm UK North West mate. Sunny Manchester. The wwxbb are nice to grow can't say much for the smoke as I haven't tried it. Just remember liking the widow back when I started smoking.

Nice to have some local folks on here too. I've got 3 wwxbb and 1 northern lights x chronic in a 1.2 x 1.2 x 2.0m tent. 5 gallon pots with straight coco. One sec I'll post a link. You can have a look then if you want mate
