Some people are more tolerant of differing viewpoints than others.
To gain a better understanding, it's important to hear the other side first.
@UncleBuck is a staunch supporter of the Democratic Party as it currently exists and operates and feels they represent his best hope for getting what he wants from our government.
It is important to note that while I feel differently, I've never disrespected him for his views. I've even acknowledged that he may be right.
That said, my view is that at the very least, the Democratic Party needs a swift kick in the ass to start doing it's job- and the best way I can see to do that is to create a credible threat to its cushy position as the only opposition to an increasingly fascist American right wing.
Our methods may different, but I think our larger goals are substantially the same.
I can say all this without calling him names, a courtesy he seems increasingly unable to reciprocate.
