I know what you mean bro re the improvement of growing skills before cracking the good genetics....good advice which I'm following :) Nothing worse than wasting seeds...which I've done a few times but learning/improving is the name of the game. Although I was really pissed off with my poor efforts it's good to feel that progress is being made :)

I need to move one plant from a small pot to a bigger one, need to go and buy some soil but my depression has been really shit the past week which kinda put me off doing anything. I'll get that sorted and veg for a little longer to give it a chance to catch up then do the flip. It all feels so much easier with photo's so I'm confident I can sort it and get a few Oz from the 4 girls. I'm going to take cuttings as well to give me extra plants :)

At least you know why your grow turned messy and you have the skills to sort it so no biggie there. Bodhi seeds sound interesting. I've been looking at Ripper seeds, I think you'll like some of them so take a look man, if you haven't already.

Glad you moved the mug of seeds, pretty sure stomach acid isn't the right way to germ them :)

I think its something all new led guys do it seems! i burnt my plants with the blurples, seen it done so many times. I was told they wont work by you know where, so "put em close" is was what i did :( Its part of the learning tho (: glad things are looking up.

Order the soil online maybe? dont have to deal with people that way, well just the delivery guy anyway.

Yep i reckon i averaged 2 hours shut eye a night...slept 16 hours straight when i got home...took an age to recover!

i have some ripper seeds lol - i have their Zombie Kush :weed: seed addict.

bodhi are tops, lil family thing producing class! interesting podcast interview on soundcloud at pot cast channel with him, i've listened to the first part so far and like him!

Yeah I was advised by someone on you-know-where to buy the led's I did and he was gonna help me to get up and running with them. He then disappeared due to personal reasosn, which is fair enough. The person who then advised me to put them very close didn't actually use led's but I didn't know that so followed his shit advice :( Anyway I feel more confident now with photo's and keeping the lights approx. 3 feet above the plants and they are looking pretty healthy....I'll get some pics up tomorrow!

I was gonna order the soil online but I procrastinated like fuck lol....just need to get it sorted tomorrow.
The Ripper Seeds Acid Dough sounds interesting...also the Badazz Kush. Def plenty of quality genetics to try. No chance of running out of choice!
Worse things to be addicted to than seed collecting :)

@StonerCol man yeah the Acid Dough does sound an interesting cross! There are toooooo many! The Bodhi interview is good at explaining the current state of crosses...man speaks the truth!

Get the soil ordered dude - get the plants flipped and soon you'll have some free bud (: ive been putting off repotting for ages...tonight is the night! got a couple days to potter around putting things right so thats what im doing.

Just checked on my girls and they are looking lush and piling on the height/girth. Pics tomorrow when I re-pot the one with the soil :)

Do you use Bud Ignitor or any other such stuff? I was wondering if there is any benefit to using that kinda thing before and after I flip?

The Mammoth P hasnt showed up yet man...i dunno if they sent out international samples or not, i need to email em again.

i use canna boost in flower but the more i read the more i think im spending £180 on 5litres of placebo. its different in soil i reckon...wheres fevs when ya need him! canna boost is sold as a sweetener...it smells like molasses...some people love it...other people say you dont need it.

Yeah it's difficult with all these supplements, never know how much truth v bs there is in it all. Some people brew their own with molasses etc which I guess saves cash, but if they don't work anyway........Sometimes I think people add some of these things as a placebo for themselves....they just feel better using them even though the y may not be particularly beneficial. It's a difficult one.
With Coco can you use Ecothrive Biosys Instant Microbe Tea? It's supposed to be really effective in soil.

The other thing I was gonna mention - hydrogen peroxide - I read that it is great for getting rid of fungus gnats. I tried it when I had some and they soon disappeared. It kills the eggs and also as a by-product produces oxygen which gives a boost to roots. Dunno if you can use it in Coco tho.

You might aswell be a guerilla grower lukio only visiting your plants every now and then and you still pulled off a good crop too.Whats the smoke like on the gth have you had a cheeky sample yet?

@StonerCol Forget all that in soil mate just grow and bloom . Tried root juice and boost and it just messes it up the balance.Same with calmag keep that off your roots.Took me a few messed up grows to realise less is more in soil.
The only thing id recommenced is tncmycorr max when you pot up.

Just checked and you can use Biosys with Coco. Here's a description of what it does:

@key4 thanks for that bro. I do prefer to keep things simple. I've been using Empathy Root Grow which is the same kinda thing I believe. It's good stuff. I always check out the root structure after chop and the roots spread every where. I found you can lift the remaining stalk, after chop, and the roots are so abundant they hold all the soil in place making it like a cake lol. If buds grew off roots I'd have a ton of bud now lol
My Biobizz Bloom is nearly finished. Can you recommend a better alternative or should I just buy more of the same?

they are amazing and cheap as hell for once! check em out.

im tempted to run powdered nutes one day soon, pain in the ass mixing em up apparently but so cheap. canna nutes are so easy and their base is reasonably priced imo...its jus the boost that bothers me, tis so much money...

haha @key4 thank god for automation (: if i add a ph adjuster its all good for weeks man! id need a bigger rez actually

The GTH is a fave man. few different phenos - all very nice. running em again to narrow it down a bit but its tough. one smells like chocolate lemon sherbet and is absolutely caked in Crystal but fluffy structure wise, another pheno has the tightest buds ever and stinks of rotting lemon sherbet rubber (: get some

oh @StonerCol peroxide will kill micros also. so i avoid it these days
