Start your own thread. Thanks!Sorry to hijack your thread getaway but I wanted it to get some responses. Has anyone seen a random bud grow out of an otherwise vegging plant before? Just about to transplant these jack the rippers and noticed this wierd bud formation. Any input is appreciated thanks!

That's awesome. Sorry if you've stated this already, this thread is too long for me to keep up with... Are you selectively breeding those early bloomers to create specific short flower time versions of your strains? I know your strains in general are about shorter flower time and mold resistance, I'm just wondering how much of a priority the sorter flower time aspect is for you? And of course, overall quality has to remain part of the equation. I'm just starting to breed (for myself), and I totally respect how much time and effort goes into promoting certain attributes while not losing other valuable characteristics.so far i got one gold mine budding like crazy and a getaway special in full bud mode that i pollinated with an early r-2 male i found so those 2 phenos will be early sept strains
i usually take every early pheno i get and put aside with all the other early phenos i get and if i got a early male kicking around that will match up i hand pollinate them and get an earlier version of the bigger ones they are usually on 2 weeks earlier but 2 weeks in mid sept is the difference to getting a crop or not being on the coast i keep them all but only a few are good for production and the rest arent worth screwing with but to find the money makers ya got to seed them all to not miss that special lady and toss the rest of the seeds in the garbage make 10 strains keep 2-3 if ya lucky hahaThat's awesome. For next summer I'm thinking about going "full auto" for my summer grow and avoiding our crappy fall weather altogether. But I'll try anything that is top quality and finishes early. I'm interested in strains that finish before the 2rd week in September, when possible.
We're in similar boats, I'm just north of the 45th, but I live near "the Gorge" and by late September not only often get rain, persistent overcast skies and unrelenting humidity, I also get strong wind. A greenhouse might be in my future, but for now a short season is my best option. I'm sure I'll try a few of yours next summer.i usually take every early pheno i get and put aside with all the other early phenos i get and if i got a early male kicking around that will match up i hand pollinate them and get an earlier version of the bigger ones they are usually on 2 weeks earlier but 2 weeks in mid sept is the difference to getting a crop or not being on the coast i keep them all but only a few are good for production and the rest arent worth screwing with but to find the money makers ya got to seed them all to not miss that special lady and toss the rest of the seeds in the garbage make 10 strains keep 2-3 if ya lucky haha
