1200watt meizhi in 2x4x5

What the title says. I want to run a 1200watt in my 2x4 hung in the middle at its highest point. Would it be great or you think a little overkill

Way overkill
I use 180 watts on 2 pcb boards in a 2x3x5 cabinet. The heat from 1200watts would be a hurdle

I'm currently just running a 300watt led for veg on a few plants. Would 1 900 watt be ok then or it would be better just yo buy another 300 and run both

Still getting familiar with lights and trying to figure out what's best. The led I have currently is offbrand but want to advance to better leds

Strange I don't remember heat being an issue in the OP. Again people run 600 hps in those tents which that would be a lot and the meihzi is 100 watts less. Again not overkill

I disagree .. he has 8 square feet x 50 watt per square foot = 400 watts.. You don't know shit!!
. just agree to disagree... let the op decide if he wants burnt dried out plants or not.. It's his decision....

Way to keep it civil.
Recommended 60 watts per square foot for hps everywhere on the net. The Meizhi is just as efficient as an hps (probably less).

FYI been growing 10 years helping people giving away product and helping set up grows.
