U loky lmk i spoke to him i seen pamtom bords like childs bords sand Samsung quantum chips but he's tried read in it he's got different color weights and it any selling the boards on discount right now it but its not the same website its not cold Led grow lights its another website and the boards are rated at the sweet spot at 75watt half so 140eatt bords batter spektum than other bords that all White

Ok folks, first time posting a grow journal here on rollitup.

Big thanks to the good people on RIU for helping me along the way, and a special thanks to Robin at Northern Grow Lights, a real pleasure to deal with, quality service.

My setup is in a 1.2x1.2 tent, lights being used are Quantum Boards only.
They are the 2 X 250 watt kits wired in series. (waiting for another kit to be in stock)

Plants being grown are Dinafem Critical+2.0 and Dinafem Amnesia Kush.
They are in 20litre Hempy buckets with a mix of 60% perlite and 40% canna coco pro, with clay pebbles in the bottom and clay pebbles on top so I don't disturb the growing medium to much when watering.
The plants have been trained to grow wide from the start for scrog, under a couple of 3070cobs.
At present they are currently weaving their way through a 1x1meter scrog net, and just starting their 2nd week of 12/12 with the Quantum Boards.
The Quantum Boards have just been turned up to 400 watts and are floating about 30 inches above the canopy.
Temps inside the tent with lights on 24-25c, Lights of from 20-24c.
They are being fed Ionic Hydro Grow, Canna Mono Trace Mix.
EC is 1.1

I am not on here to preach the usual led bollocks and wild claims on yields etc.
I have grown for a good while under burples, hid, and cobs, time will tell me how well they work, so long as I don't screw it up.

Also in the UK. Just cutting my teeth building a cob. I do have a thread and she is almost finished. Where did you get your QB's over here mate. I want to chuck another build together for a veg tent just not using cobs on that. Sounds like what you're running will be great but I don't rate ionic personally. Will definitely be sitting down to have a proper read through when I get a chance this evening.

@Colanoscopy I got the boards from the original supplier and designers HLG across the water. No problems getting them here mine took 4 days.
I will be ordering another 2 boards at some point just for the veg cab. Seriously impressive kit.

I'm gonna see if I can get a couple ordered. My driver took 2 days to arrive from texas. And my heatsinks were like a week late from fucking Milton Keynes haha. Royal mail is shite init. I'll drop you a tag on my cob build see what you think.

@zypheruk......because the boards and drivers are from across the water....are they both voltages...ie....can i plug them straight into a uk wall socket at 240v....and did you have to fit your own uk plug

...£295 inc shipping to UK...that's not bad at all...but there's a little wait and i forgot to ask the above question on voltage and plug
How are you getting on with them boards still?......wanted to have a look at your grow diaries but it wont let me...i think its private

looking forward to more grows of yours if i can see them...and my boards "cant wait"

if your ordering from HLG let them know and i do believe they will supply a 240 plug for you. the boards get their juice from the driver so only the plug needs to change.

The boards work fine in the UK, just fit a plug on the drivers. I'm still using the boards, and still working like new so no problems.
