Needs to be 5 inches if it's CFL or around 10 12 hpsThe lights 18" away.
At 10" I would cook my plants with a 600 .Needs to be 5 inches by if it's CFL or around 10 12 hps
Maybe 22 then still reacon it's too far away I think anywayAt 10" I would cook my plants with a 600 .
I gotta ask, have you used a 600 hps?Maybe 22 then still reacon it's too far away I think anyway
Mine is currently 3' away from top of plant, and it's 90-92 degrees at the top of the plant.I gotta ask, have you used a 600 hps?
I didn't have a large budget for my light. So, like a meathead, I got a light and hood, but exhaust is not incorporated. Although I do have a 500cfm exhaust fan cranking right next to it.That would be ok probably if they were established with good canopy ventilation I would think but you would have to test canopy temps. My hoods all have intake incorporated (not sealed) which gets rid of heat so it helps.
I'd have said the same before i got a cool tube, i had buds get within six inches of the light without noticeable burning, those tops were super sticky too. Grab one if you can they are the tits imoAt 10" I would cook my plants with a 600 .
do yourself a gigantic favor, buy a cool tube, filter, and some ducting to hook the fan to the light before they get much bigger, 90-92 degrees means you will have an uphill battle, i have a 600 in a 4x4 tent and it gets to maybe 80's, and its in a metal shed in the deep south lol, Imo its the best money I've spent so farI didn't have a large budget for my light. I'm wondering with the 600W mh/hps (mainly hps). How close they will be able to get without taking damage during flower? If they double or triple in size during flower, technically I should switch the lighting now?
