Promix?

My vote is it would be ok if it were promix cc/hp. Which promix are you looking at or using? They have several blends that are made up of different things. The cc/hp is a blend of coco fiber and chunks. Hp=high porosity. I use promix hp. Standard peat with a higher percentage of perlite. Hp still =high porosity, but a much different way of getting there. There is also cc 60/40. A blend of 60% peat and 40% coco. There are other things in it but basically they are saying that of the brown, dirt like material, its a 60/40 blend then all the other goodies added. I forget what else is in this one, may or may not have perlite. They all have a mild nute charge like 1/1/1 but that is gone fairly quickly so not a factor. Hope this helps?

Nice! Are you composting your own chicken shit? Do you ever run into issues? Some cool stuff people are doing with indoor no till, though you really should run either beds or fairly large containers. Apology to op for thread jack infraction.

started with worm farms for a year, too much work, then a met rabbit factory with fresh turds, then yep composted my own chicken poop, now I buy organic composted chick chit Organicare. never any issues with fertilizers growing but never felt warm and fuzzy about working with and using fresh poop in and around my medical garden, worm farm was heavy work, killing rabbit weekly wore on me. 50 lb bags lasts me months, cheap, delivered and clean. I've got 11 foot ceilings so I dared them with trees in 55 gallon drums in the past, now I settled on 5 gallon pails for the win.

Use the nutes but get coco. I left promix hp for straight coco, havent looked back, love it. I love the freedom of not really being able to overwater, not to be abused, but handy for short vacations, if you see she needs something no need to wait till a dry cycle, etc...
