First indoor closet cfl grow

That's looks like the exact bulb I'm using.

Trick is to remove the outer diffuser and the inner baffle.

I use a hacksaw for the outer, gently.

Well I got the bulb ready and plugged it in, wow what a difference that made!!! Thank you for your suggestion I seem to get way better coverage with the led light on top with the CFLs on the sides. I can't wait to watch it grow the next few weeks, I am thoroughly excited haha!

I grow a lot of clones with short veg times under them. So not very tall or bushy , but I get nice dense nuggets and extremely frosty .

I bet the frost on yours will increase a bunch by harvest.

One other tip add back one 6500k on each side two weeks before harvest. It better simulates later summer.

I know you are on a budget so if you can one day afford a 10000k t5 for finishing it's a big plus.

Anyway keep an eye on the top of the plant for any signs of stress.

I am I watch it quite a bit my gf says I pay more attention to it than her at times haha. I hope it gets really nice an frosty from what I've read the buds should be just starting to fatten up this week, I can't wait to see what happens

So here we are just finished week 4 of flower, going on the 5th, looks really nice I get way better light with the 18w led bulb overhead. I turned the overhead light off for the one pic of the main bud. Gimme your thoughts!

Holy cow man! The improvement in development looks great. Here I've been looking at some "el cheapo" leds on Amazon. Seeing this simple bulb also bought at any store these days with simple modification can achieve similar results.

I've got some Ghost Train Haze seeds my buddy grew last year. First grow in his new closet and didn't have fully sealed, 1 hermied and seeded the whole room. Thankfully the whole crop was the same. Waiting for another week or 2 to sprout. Being a sativa dominate hybrid, should look similar to yours...only outdoors. Utilizing nature's cycle for no added electric cost lol.

Thanks, I was shocked too its looking better everyday I would love to grow another one I just don't have any quality seeds left just some from some average homegrow type shit mu buddy gave me. I honestly would add a few more of these bulbs to it next time

It looks like you might run out of room honestly from that picture.it's going to stech again during flower , if I were you I would try to make reflectors out of tin foil around the bulbs to act like a shade to be able to direct the light more evenly on the plant. And get them closer to the plant, CFLs can be about 4-5 inches from it. Also it looks like it stretched alot during vegetation so the buds might need to be held up as they grow. What are you using for soil, any nutes? I used growweedeasy.com and followed their guide I never checked my ph or anything like that though.

Yeah, I used fox farms ocean forest and fox farm nutes I think fox farms is the best not really much fuss just plant and grow. Yeah thoes are the start of buds, the Lower branches prolly won't grow much though, I just cut mine off yesterday. You should def have enough lights I only have five 23 watt and the 18watt led bulb and that's how my plant looks.
