Nah, Hillary's coming back in 2020 to save us all
I think her credibility as a Presidential candidate is pretty thoroughly shot.
She failed to connect with average constituents on a host of issues including those addressed in my post just above, and in fact continually telegraphed her support of the financial industry instead.
Since the election, these themes have continued unabated, while Mr Sanders went on a multi state tour to reach out to voters across the country, in Democratic leaning and Republican strongholds alike, both with Tom Perez's Democratic Party 'unity tour' and on his own.
It's time to move forward from a self limiting politics of reaction to the reprehensible initiatives of Republicans to championing a new direction of their own. Universal healthcare, living wages, workplace protections and other policies to aid and benefit the middle class are popular and long overdue.
Frankly, billionaires don't need welfare; they aren't missing any meals. It is America's middle class that is on life support and needs representation and recognition.
