But, from a political standpoint he is a gift to the Democratic Party. A Hilary presidency would have ensured republican majorities in congress for years to come.

I have conceded that his policies are not good for the average person. I don't feel Mike Pences policies would be any better. My only point, from a POLITICAL standpoint, is that Trump will be good for the Democratic Party in the long run. They certainly weren't winning anything on their own accord.
