Does smoking on an empty stomach make you more high? + does eating make you less high

yeah, usually when I eat when I'm high, it seems as if the high wears off a bit. another way I can usually tell when I'm losing my high is when I twitch. I then know I'm done.

I have heard talk from friends about certain foods canceling certain drugs they gave me a link but I have lost it I cant remember what makes you come down on weed tho I do know for a fact that drinking orange juice(real stuff) or eating oranges while on E helps you come down (something to do with the citrus and vitamin C) same as coffee (caffeine) helps you sober up when drunk I am almost positive that weed would have one but I am not 100%

Well since you get high from vaporized (gaseous) THC crossing through the alveoli of your lungs into your blood the amount of food in your stomach shouldn't affect how high you get unlike alcohol which is affected by stomach contents and speed of digestion.

I think madmaty is on to something. I have heard something to that effect myself. I believe sugary foods may be the culprit, but I'm not sure.

Cranberry juice can make certain drugs not work correctly. I don't think it affects pot but I read an article where it made a date rape drug less effective on the victim so she was able to identify her attacker and he was prosecuted.

The increased appetite caused by Marijuana has been known for some time and slowly is being recognized for it medical purposes. Marijuana can be used as an treatment for the loss of appetite caused by Anorexia, Tuberculosis, Hypothyroidism, Cancer, HIV, AIDs,and other serious diseases. Remember next time your smoking, the munchies could save your life. :D

I have a hard time believing that . . . smoke goes in your lungs bro, not your stomach (unless you're doing something /really/ wrong.)

I'm not curious about the effects of eating food before or after high, or anything of that nature... I'm more curious about how not eating effects your body, and how marijuana combines with those effects.
Example: I haven't eaten almost an entire day. I am also hypoglycemic and am prone to low blood sugar. When I fast, my sugar levels drop significantly and when I smoke pot on top of this, it seems like I get much much higher, faster.

Also, I was wondering if the heightened effects may also be triggered by the fact that THC is fat soluble and when you fast, your body uses it's storage energy. I'm thinking that maybe because your body is releasing the THC laden fat energy, you're body is getting you at a steady, constant high. Therefore, smoking on top of it, just adds on top of it.

Anyone know anything about this?

This intrigues me to. I have an eating disorder so If I don't smoke every day, I will literally go days without eating. Then if I smoke on an empty stomach (10 hours+) I do tend to feel pretty fucked up, then eat and still feel fucked up despite eating supposedly making you sober up. My friends think I'm nuts because I'm ready to snack right after a spliff and they think that'll ruin it.
