Thats definitely a good idea. I was leaning towards hiring someone also though. Really depends on how much money I can save up from now to then. This year I was trying to get a Marijuana Worker Permit to work out in Oregon but its taking forever to process. I do have a couple of really small outdoor grows...Less than 10 plants so im not compeletly clueless but at the same time i definitely could use help but its hard landing these growing jobs.
Oh alright that's good that you have a few small ops yourself. Based on the posts of yours I have seen I thought you had absolutely no experience at all. It is definitely challenging to get a job in the industry, especially where I am (Mass.). Even though it is legal here it is still pretty hard to land a "real" job growing. Before it was legalized here a buddy of mine and myself worked at a compassion center in southern New England (I don't want to put any names out there) and it did leave a sour taste in my mouth. I think it is safe to say that it was just this particular place though. I have never seen such a well funded grow that was a complete mess at the same time, it was actually pretty sad to see it happen since I knew what this warehouse was capable of. Hopefully I can land something with a smaller operation once we start opening up stores for recreational purposes.
That sucks. Well I hope you find something better and even though i have a few outdoor grows I wouldnt of called any of them successful out in fl Idk what it is the plants just dont get that big. I had friends grow in the ground with good soil and they still cant get more then a hp off a plant then you see cali and its 5lbs a plant with branches big enough to climb on. Im definitely going to do my research from now until then more likely then not someone is going to be hired. Nothing is set in stone yet though. Im just trying to preorganize.

I appreciate the advice. You are right I just before I did this thread was somewhat scared because on google they make humboldt sound like the wild west. If you read an article on it they say more then half is cartel, 352 people missing in a year, all that type of stuff so at first I was just making sure it was safe to go out there. But I also understood acourse there going to make it sound worst then what it is so everyone doesnt go there. I just wanted to hear from someone there who actually knew what to expect. On the growing aspect you are 100 percent right a book is a good way to go about it. Thank you.for adviceThough I can't recommend one, I would suggest you invest in a good grow bible of sorts.
You have so many ? to be answered. It appears you want someone to guide you thru the process, that is a lot to ask IMHO. Don't mean to sound to harsh just thinking some good reading might help..
Personally every man and his dog would prob wanna go there to grow cos it's the cream of the crop according to Google searches

Thank you thats really good advice cause even though everyone I talked to said i should be fine its still kind of scary with all the missing people reports. Im definitly trying to make some money but not to the extent where i put my life in jeopardy ya know. And if anyone is reading this post and has trim work or any work in that field i would really like to learn dont even have to pay me top dollar more in it for the knowledge aspect. The only part I was wondering is someone said something about a 99 plant rule. Is that valid in all of california or just emerald triangle. Part of me feels like if i get pulled over with a pound in a area like that it would be different then if i get pulled over with a pound somewhere else. Like everyone says the cops know whats going on but I just wonder what the gray line is there. Acourse I am going to be as lowkey as humanly possible but I just wish someone from that area could jump in the thread and answer those questions just so I dont have to go through the trial and error phase. There is alot of information on growing and experience is definitly important but if someone really applies there self I feel like they can learn it especially with a mentor.
