Watching the news right now, and friggin Orrin Hatch and McCain are opposing Trump on this. Pretty tough to be to the right of those two on anything.

I had a transgender woman as a neighbor for a couple of years. She thwarted a break in at my house by calling the cops and then making her presence known while she waited. I got to know her pretty well. My daughter stays in touch with her. Amazing neighbor and woman. I'd go to battle with her sooner than I would with ANY Trumptard.

Yeah, no doubt there will always be homophobic people. A transgender person is well aware of this, and I'm sure weighs that in their descison to enlist as well.
I agree that *any* person that joins the military should be able to perform their duties competently. That should be the bottom line.
Sexual orientation is not a disability.
