Couple of questions. Please help newbie

I have one plant that in a couple spots the leaves are yellowing on the edge. Kind of looks spotty. And on the same plant I there is a light brown spot in the middle of a leaf. Any ideas?
I am using straight happy frog soil with no added nutes and plant is about 3 weeks old
...note. The yellowing edges are only where other leaves rest on top of them. Maybe turning yellow from lack of light?


Also the center of my plants are bright green. Is this normal?

I wouldn't worry about it to much keep a eye on them let them grow out the bright green is healthy new growth this is a good sign takes some pictuers and im sure someone can add to it

Happy frog is a pretty "hot" soil for a three week old plant. You say it's yellowing where other leaves touch. Is it wet where the leaves touch? What's your humidity? How wet is your soil?

Are you sure about the Happy Frog being a hot soil? I have always thought ocean forest is hot and HF not so much.

All I know is that it fried some seeds I started in straight HappyFrog. I started some in a blend of 50% HappyFrog and 50% coco and they did just fine. I grow in coco but start my seeds in soil blends for the built in nutrients and not having to worry about mixing a solution when the plants are at that stage. HappyFrog is a good soil as far as bagged soils go but it can be too strong for some plants when they are young. That's been my experience.

Yeah, FF makes Light Warrior for seedlings. One bag last me a long time.
