another dumb question to be answered :)

I have a plant that's been left in the shade for about two months. It looks like it's only about two weeks old but in reality it's been growing since April :/ is there something I could do to make it start growing? It's been out of the shade for about a week now. It's just lagging on me :( what do you guys think?

There is never really a dumb question. . I don't think being in the shade so long as helped it any .I'd repot to a bigger pot then get it under some good light on a 18hrs on 6 hr off

When you moved it out of the shade, did you gradually introduce it to the sun or put it out in the sun and leave it. Like a person a plant in the shade needs to be introduced to the sun slowly. The way a person needs to slowly be introduced to the sun to develop a tan and not sun burn, Similar with a plant, it needs to develop the protection in the leaf to handle the increased intensity of the light. Give it some time to adjust, a week is not a long time, It should get better.

Well I went on vacation for about a month and a half came to find my plant under a big shady tree. It was hardly growing I moved it from a 5 gallon pot to a 20 gallon pot. I haven't put it in direct sunlight because I live in Palm Springs, and it's hot as hell out here. Again thanks man for helping me out :)

That's what I taught too. I've got tons of seeds. I'll just start over :) thanks man :)
Going forward I would go get some better soil from the store, put a bunch of seeds in solo cups (or something similar), and put under a cfl light bulb.
U should've never been in a 5 gal pot with a plant that size much less a 20gal pot.
Not sure where the seeds came from but it also could just be bad genetics.

:-P yeah I agree with you. I never purchased any soil at the store:) I should invest in that. And the strain I'm trying to grow is a hybrid called Diablo cookies so maybe the genetics aren't too easy to work with. And then me being new to growing doesn't help :) but I'll get there one day hopefully

If the plant was beyond repair it wouldn't have green leaves on it and it has ..iv saved much worse than that ..a repot into a 5gallon max..with fresh soil and give it light feed it some coco grow or bloom. .also fish n blood meal is good....concentrated tomato liquid. ...I'm sure u will see a difference. .. when you water just try and us bottled water for a few weeks .... use water on its own for 2 waters then on the next add feed in with the water .. then repeat

Maybe u should take ur own advice @MrBuddy, your plants and harvests look like shit. That plants is not worth spending any more time/money/energy on.

Me thinking the 20 gallon pot would help it grow :) I'm so silly :) I'm honestly thinking about starting fresh, this plant has been sprouted since the beginning of April. Do you really think I could bring it back? Would I even get a good harvest from it? Possibly not :(
